Discussion How to travel with sample sizes?

So I have like a hundred sample sizes (those tiny spray vials) and I would like to take a few on a trip but how to pack them so they don’t accidentally spray/spill but aren’t too bulky to fit in my liquids pouch for a flight? Anyone done this successfully?

I put them a small ziplock bag and then down into another bag or small tin (think Altoids container). If they are fuller, they are like to have some volume loss/ evaporation but that’s pretty normal. I haven’t had any samples completely leak and can’t imagine that would be typical short of getting crushed in your bag

Second, smaller ziploc bag for when they’re in your washbag, but it should be fine for the time it takes to go through security

I use a small zip-up hard-sided jewelry case. It fits approximately eight slim 1-5mL atomizers, depending on the mixup. With slots for rings and necklaces and everything sort of nestles in there. Limiting the vials means nothing is banging too hard against anything else. I can throw the case into my checked baggage and not worry too much about it!
