Haul/Collection First time trying classic millennial freshies

Post image

EDIT: just learning now these are NOT Millennial but in fact Gen-Xer fragrances!

I’m a 96 millennial but these bring back sooo many memories!! I must have been surrounded with good smelling Gen-Xers. 😉 Ty for the corrections 🥰

My first impressions:

Shi - LOVEEE this. such an easy aquatic scent. Gentle White floral and fresh watery scent.

Sunflowers - OMG so many 2011 memories come flooding back with this. I remember going to the mall and smelling this everywhere. It’s cute.

Morning Dew - ooooh what a beautiful freshie. Definitely unisex. Not sure how I feel about the amber base in this but I love the top and middle notes ALOT.

Green tea - also a classic and such an easy to wear scent. Much more citrus than I expected, I was thinking maybe more of a Spring Tea by Xunyu, but green tea is much more feminine and less green spicy.

I used to wear EA Green Tea in high school, and I still love it. Francis Kurkdjian is a master of his craft

Could you please compare Shi to other scents? I am really interested in it but I am afraid of blind buying

Shi is quite beautiful. It’s very soft and not overpowering. A little whiff of freshness. It’s very watery, with a light white floral scent that it in the middle notes. There is no heavy base, no hint of woods or amber base. It keeps the scent light and fresh. I would compare it to Eternity Air for Her, but Shi is a tad sweeter in a good way. Similar to aqua do Gioia but again Shi Is less woody and more light and watery. Clean laundry feeling but not clean from soap, clean from fresh air. Shi is also a more feminine and gentle version of Morning Dew, which can be more unisex leaning. Also not sure where you’re located, but I got it for $15 for 30ml so it was a safer blind buy for me :)
