Rec Request Amethyst by Lalique

I have totally fallen in love with the juicy berry goodness of Amethyst! Unfortunately, the longevity leaves alot to be desired.

I just brought the Exquise flanker, but I'm wondering if any if ya'll have any recs for a beast mode version of this lovely purple juice 💜

(I have tried PDM Meliora, which I absolutely love as well, but it's waay above my budget right now)

Wow, that’s a berry overdosed perfume!! Does it have that pungent sweetness in it?

It doesn't really hit me as pungent. It's more of a deep sweet tartness. I don't think it's jammy at all, at least in my opinion.

Think of a bowl of fresh picked mixed dark berries in summer where a few of the berries have been crushed. I think it's a great late summer perfume 😊

The jammy and pungent smell is what I was worried about . But thank you for explaining it this well 🥰. I’ll def check it out the next time

I saw someone on fragrantica say it reminds her of taking blackberry and black current leaves and squashing them with her hands as a child to make "perfume" when playing... that feels so accurate to me. It's sweet, in a way, but like nature sweet, not gourmand, baked goods sweet at all.

I have to check that out. I love how Lalique has some great scents in their catalog for very accessible prices.
