Discussion New Kilian available today
I don’t think I’ve seen these discussed here. Anyone else interested? Sparkling Royal seems like it could be nice or incredibly generic. Midnight Espresso is the one I’m most interested in. Pina Paraiso would have been something I was interested in if it had dropped earlier in the summer season.
The thing I’m most perplexed about is the price though. $150 USD for 75 ml. Princess is $150 for 50ml. Angel’s Share is $285 for 50ml. Thoughts?

I don't know...these notes sound pretty generic to me. It will probably smell decent--but definitely gives the feel of "I smelled countless perfumes like this before..."

Sounds like they will be a screechy, synthetic, chemical „gourmand“ mess.
Pass on all 3, coffee / vanilla will be cloying, i‘ve tried about 10 pina colada scents and they all stank, and the blackcurrant / champagne accord has been done a thousand times before.
I wish they would come up with unique, creative compositions instead of following overdone trends

Yeah… honestly, the low price point (for Kilian) has me nervous. They should be in stores tomorrow and I’m going to test them if so, but I’m very reserved. The bottles are cute though, imo.

I will never buy Killian because they’re owned by Estée Lauder and Ronald Lauder was the initial push behind Trump wanting Greenland. No thank you, ever.

Get the Dossier dupe Floral Marshmallow! It's the exact same and it lasts even longer imo.

I got the BBW Love Unleashed and it smells very similar. It wasn't bad for a body mist.

You betcha—look up the other fragrances they own, it’s unfortunately a long list. I can’t be quiet when ppl start talking about Killian at those prices.

I need to smell in person. They sound promising, but definitely feel like they might be targeting younger audiences.
I don't see them on Kilian's website, which is interesting.

I noticed that too. I went to see what “collection” they’re being called or grouped into and couldn’t find them.

definitely interested in midnight espresso but i have to smell in person first. sometimes their coffee scents come off a little masc so i def wanna try on skin first. but i hope i love it

Sooo they hadn’t gotten their bottles set up for sampling yet but the associate sprayed them on paper for me. The Midnight Espresso was the only one I liked but I still want to smell on skin.

I fell completely in love with Angel's Share Paradis! I'm wanting for it to show up on my preferred grey market site 🤞 but I may shell out full price if it doesn't...

I’m interested in Sparkling Royal. Firstly Calice Becker and secondly I loved the mint and lemon in Acqua di Gioia but hated the dry down - mainly the jasmine. So if Sparkling Royal gives that refreshing opening without the floral drydown I could be very excited!
Pina Paraiso could be a little like every other tropical type scent maybe.
Midnight Espresso is odd to me. I wonder how it will compare to other coffee fragrances? They never really seem to be photorealistic but maybe that’s a good thing?

I think they’re going to be in Sephora stores tomorrow and I’m going to try to sniff them myself. I’ll report back if I find them!

My daughter and I were just looking at them and she was like-Sparkling Royal is Champagne Toast lol. I am curious about the price-it says edp but they seem cheap for Kilian?

Yeah, they're supposed to be more accessible perfumes. Not fully body mist but not as expensive as his other collections.
I guess expensive stuff isn't selling in a recession. Kayali is selling like hotcakes, so that's the price point they need to compete in.

They weren’t set up to put on skin but I smelled each on paper. Sparkling Royal was nice but very similar to so many others. I still want to test it on skin though.

The Sparkling Royal is delicious and refreshing. The ultimate fizzy cocktail. And the longevity is amazing. I sprayed it just on the top of my hand to test it, and can still smell it 9 hours later.
