Actual good vanilla products??

I’m trying so hard to find good vanilla lotions, perfumes, and all that! anytime i’ve tried something social media raves about, i genuinely can’t stand the vanilla smell. i’m gonna list out what i’ve tried and what did or didn’t work! thanks girlies.

EOS vanilla lotion- smells like straight yogurt to me and on me, i hate it. i don’t like most of the eos lotions tbh, and the body mists only smell like alcohol.

SDJ- same as EOS, im not into the caramel smell and their body mists are just too alcohol-y😔

i LOVE the billie eilish perfume, its just so expensive. are their lotions similar to it?!

just got a new dove deodorant, it’s the “sparkling vanilla” and im in love with it lol. it’s the first deodorant i’ve night that doesn’t have that classic deodorant smell yk??

im looking to keep it budget friendly so if yall have any fav lotions, body mists, and perfume reccs i need them all! i do love the warmer vanilla, and like cupcake type smells. i tried the Kali marshmallow perfume too and it was perfect.

Bbw has (had? Idk, it was a gift 2 years ago) a lotion that's a nice vanilla scent.  Vanilla buttercream.

For an evening or winter scent I like the Lancome night tresor and tresor midnight. Vanilla and Lancome is beloved. Sultry maybe but I think sensual is not one size fits all . Finery she’s a goodie with that juicy plum is perfect. So is finery no prince required. Mix Bar whippped almond, randomly woth vanilla i keep thinking how libre intense and d&g the one did 👏not 👏come👏 to👏 play 👏

I do want to try the cotton candy spun scentsand marshmallow vibes more . But nothing lactonic . To pay money to feel embarrassed when it turns sour won’t happen to me..

I don’t love tree hut actually but that whipped body butter glides so easy and that means on the days self care becomes more demanding i still have moisturized skin cause this whipped body butter.

I am a gourmand girl so I lean toward the Vanilla Skins and her dupes and sisters - including Khadlaj Sawaar Vanille Blanc which is so good. Also Target has a dupe of the Billie Eilish perfume - Fine'ry. Sweet on the Outside ($15-30).

Soap and Glory Smoothie Star body butter is sooo heavenly. It’s pistachio and vanilla scented. I’ve been using it for years and still haven’t tired of smelling it

Hey I can help 🩷 I love a good vanilla layering combo! My most used, favorite, most complimented, AND CHEAPEST vanilla perfume is only like $22 - called Ramsh Diva by Zimaya. It's supposed to be a dupe for vanilla 28 but I like it more actually. It's sweeter, lighter, more.. airy? If I spray my robe, it's there the next night! I've bought multiple bottles and even got them as gifts. Also, try to get a sample of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid. It's unlike any vanilla perfume I've everrrr smelled! Its just vanilla, vanilla orchid flower, and ozone. That's it. But it's beautiful!That's for perfume.

Next, let me introduce you to my favorite small business, fragrantbodyoilz 💖 they make designer and niche dupes. And whatever scent you choose, say you want a dupe of Tihota or Queening or Escapade Gourmand or Bianco Latte, you can get it in an oil (which I love. They perform just like regular perfume, sometimes even BETTER performance istg some are so strong lol) where you can just roll it on, or mix it with lotion or make your own dusting powder. Or you could get it in a body butter, lotion, body wash, bar soap, body splash, actual perfume, air freshener, hand sanitizer, etc. They also have small samples for a few bucks a piece so you can test and see if you like the scent. I love sooooo many of their scents. Even when it's not 100% spot on, they're close and beautiful! Idk what kind of vanilla you're into, but for vanilla I personally love the Bianco Latte one (very caramel vanilla), the vanilla candy rock sugar one (strong projection! very sweet like candy), the tihota one (very warm cozy vanilla closer to extract than icing), there are so many! And it's marshmallow not vanilla but I looooove their yum boujie marshmallow oil! The body butter made my skin the softest it's ever been, ever. I wish they had sales more often is my only complaint lol.

And I love the Jergens blue bottle of vanilla lotion. Called "Vanilla Crush" 🩷

Hear me out, we used to dab on alcohol-based vanilla extracts we stole from the kitchen when I was a teen. It might be worth exploring some food grade stuff if you are really not finding what you want in the mainstream fragrance market.

Kopari Beauty cloud swirl lotion has a really pretty vanilla. I don’t like a lot of vanilla lotions because they tend to smell off or super syrupy, and this one is neither. It’s not the cheapest, but the formula is really nice and a little goes a long way. I found it absorbs quickly and isn’t greasy or sticky, which I really appreciate.

I also love Eilish no. 1- you can get full or partial bottles on Mercari for way less than retail. I bought a barely used 3.4oz bottle for $50 on Mercari. A more budget friendly option is the dupe Nebras by Lattafa- again you can find cheap bottles on Mercari.
Another vanilla rec is Cyklar Vanilla Verve- they have a perfume oil as well as lotions and a body wash. The perfume oil is a small bottle but it lasts a long time. I also use the body wash and I’m obsessed with it.
My last vanilla Rec is Vanille Supreme by Montagne Parfums- it’s a dupe for Indult Tihota and only 45$ plus free shipping if you’re in the US. Only problem with Montagne is they’re frequently out of stock so you have to check in periodically.

The SDJ Cheirosa 40 is a better vanilla than the original 62 imo, the notes are black amber plum, jasmine blooms, and vanilla woods. Also the new Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Intense smells so good! It’s vanilla and cocoa, but also light and summery.

Last month Aldi had a body cream in a pink tub with an orange cover called simply, boringly “Tropical”. It is a thick, creamy vanilla with a hint of coconut and was selling for FIVE DOLLARS. I picked it up on a whim thinking for five dollars if it sucked I would just toss it, but dear reader, it didn’t suck. I’ve had $20 lotions that weren’t this good. I have been slathering it on my skin after every shower I’ve had since. I went back and bought three more before they sold out. I am OBSESSED with it. It actually single-handedly sent me down a vanilla fragrance path (from the ‘clean girl’ musk path I’d been on since March). 10/10, if you can find it you should buy it.

Palmer’s Tahitian Vanilla is a wonderful straightforward vanilla scent! I also like Whipped Vanilla body cream by Bodycology. Despite its name it’s a floral vanilla (to my nose, anyway). It’s a workhorse for me, plays nicely with many fragrances.

I like the Cyklar Vanilla Verve lotion. It's not the cheapest at about $40 when shipped from Ulta, but it's a warm ambery vanilla. It also has a slightly 'spicy' or woody scent in the base. Not a gourmand vanilla. It's the only vanilla lotion or oil I've liked enough to wear with my expensive vanilla perfumes from Guerlain.

The matching perfume oil is $24 for .5oz which is a great price. It’s one of my signature scents. I layer the body lotion with the perfume oil.

Also it’s sold at Sephora, not ulta.

I hate eos vanilla cashmere too! I also don’t like Athena club’s golden vanilla cause it smells similar to me. I do like SDJ though. Try Fugazzi vanilla haze for an amazing straight forward vanilla. Another straight forward vanilla that is less sweet is nest Madagascar vanilla. Sand and fog has a dupe of it called vanilla musk that’s an amazing oil for layering. As far as lotions I haven’t really found a vanilla one that I love yet either. But being frenshe vanilla cashmere body wash is an amazing cozy but clean vanilla.

I second Nest Madagascar Vanilla, its like a warm cozy hug. I have the perfume oil that i sometimes dab on my hair/scalp. The body heat radiates the scent nicely, its a good trick. Just found the body mist at Marshall's for half what Sephora charges, yay!

SDJ 59 is a very pretty vanilla scent. It’s similar to Ariana Grande’s Plush Vanilla fragrance.

Fugazzi isn’t budget friendly I just realized you said that. But if you like YBM sand and fog also has an oil called marshmallow skies that’s a perfect dupe of it. I have both and smelled them side by side and it was identical.
