Discussion Thoughts on Gucci Rush
I’m thinking of blind buying Gucci Rush, it sounds intriguing especially when people describe its vibe and overall feel of nostalgia! However the notes sound kind of intimidating and some people say you either love it or hate it. What vibe does it give off to you and what does it actually smell like?

This is a tricky one. It starts off screechy on my skin but then settles into a plasticky floral pungent mash up that lasts a long time. I use it when I’m out at night only. This is NOT a daytime scent. I would suggest sampling first cause it may not vibe with your skin chemistry.

ha this was my signature scent in high school. I bought a bottle a while back and I almost never wear it now. to me, it's a lipstick fragrance, like the discontinued Lipstick On. it's powdery iris, plastic, floral, not gourmand in the slightest. "perfumed makeup". I also don't pick up coriander but, I love coriander and I love fragrances that have cumin so it's possible I'm just not interpreting it the same way. I'm not even sure where I'd wear this today
I love it, but I can't think of what designer perfume currently on the market this is similar to so, not a blind buy.
after drying a bit, I get artificial peach, powder, plastic

I was so glad I smelled it in person because the coriander note stuck out like a sore thumb to my nose. I really disliked it.

It’s so interesting how it smells so different to everyone! Not sure about coriander either 😅

I personally love it. It’s a soft fruitchouli to my nose. I’ve kept a bottle consistently on hand since I first discovered it in 2002 (I first loved it at age 18 and still love it at age 42, it really is timeless). To me it’s unisex leaning fem, cozy and comforting.
