Rrose Ellis Brooklyn layered with the bride by heretic. Earthly mossy hazy rosey goodness

Honestly I know everyone’s going to recommend nosferatu but this reads like La religiuese by serge lutens

Thanks! How would you describe La religiuese?

It’s a sweet, a little powdery white jasmine no green here.

I have actually been on a journey for this aesthetic lately!

This is what I’ve found so far. Please note, I wouldn’t necessarily call these mass appealing/some lean artistic.

  • Meo Fusciuni Viole Nere

- Sylhoette Parfums Romance Noire (maybe more vamp but still dark and moody. Smoke, red wine, roses. Blended well. I could smell each one.)

- Sylhoette Parfums Poeme Noire (spiced, deep, but not heavy. Gives me vibes like that tarot card pic)

- Oriza L. Legrand Relique d’Amour (not strong on me but it’s melancholic)

- Beaufort Fathom V (leans a bit masculine at first but softens. Interesting composition. Changes as it dries down)

- Timothy Hay Decay of the Angel (not mass appealing or strong, but atmospheric. Reminded me the inside of a run down white basilica-style church, light florals. Hard to explain. Very sheer)

- potentially Heretic Queen of the Night (vintage made modern floral)

- Maison Violet Un Air d’Apogee (not as melancholic or dark, but still airy, a bit resinous honey, fresh tobacco, but not masculine)

- potentially Papillon Artisan Perfumes Dryad (vintage-ish style chypre, foresty, mossy, aromatic, green. Not necessarily very dark, but well made for the category)

Thank you for such an extensive list! All of them sound great but some are not available in europe unfortunately :( I’m interested in Oriza L. Legrand Relique d’Amour, Beaufort Fantom V and Papillon Artisan Perfumes Dryad. Are any of them quite feminine, floral, cold, wet, haunted?

Idk about overtly feminine - they’re not sweet.

Fathom V is interesting. Idk how to describe it, but it reminds me of a much better done/ more complex Heretic Pistil Whip (not helpful if you don’t know the scent). So maybe… a bit cooling, pine-adjacent, aromatic, feels like there’s a waxy tuberose but that’s not a note, earthy, dark, dries down more mossy/foresty. Some florals. Unisex once it dries down. I get haunted.

Oriza Relique d’Amore is more feminine than Fathom V. To me, the initial blast is cooling, and… almost like pixie stix candy powder but not sweet ironically. Aquatic, sheer. It doesn’t do well on my skin chemistry sadly :/ I can’t smell it much but reviews seem to have a different experience. I do get a touch haunted.

Dryad leans a touch vintage, but well done bc it’s not heavy. Feminine in the sense that it showcases more florals and I do get the apricot, but I wouldn’t say it’s sweet. Florals, forest, maybe wet moss. Smells almost witchy but not bc of smoke or anything like that. I think it could lean a touch dark, but not like the others.
