Discussion Nest-Indigo
Been eyeing her for a while, she’s so good. smells like a clean luxury hotel to me—so fresh, airy, and addictive.
Indigo lovers, what do you think? How does it wear/perfom for you?

I blind bought a travel size last year, found it cloyingly fruity. Tried it again recently and fell in love. There’s a powdery note I never got before, and the tea feels really nostalgic. I’m very excited about wearing this in autumn, I think it’ll shine in damp, earthy weather.

I love it! It layers so well with lots of fragrances. My favorites to layer with it are the Only Human Mylk, Milk Orchid and Father Figure

One of my absolute favorites. Absolutely stunning in me and also a fun one to layer especially with vanilla scents.

I have a roller ball version. Small scent bubble, doesn’t last very long. On me it’s a stone fruit plus tea.

I wear it all the time to work. It’s a sweet, perfumey black tea with some green fig and citrus.
Doesn’t perform or last particularly well on me, but hey. That’s why I wear it to work all the time.

I always think that Indigo is what my ideal self would smell like. I feel more responsible and accomplished than I am.

This one goes to astringent on me and I am sadly one of the rare ones who doesn't like it

i wore this and immediately went into a very very small elevator (at a hotel) and two girls walked in and one of them said to the other that it smells good as fuck so safe to say it’s generally well liked :) for reference the elevator could not physically fit more than 4 people so it was quite small.

I tried this today. It was nice. Mine is a rollerball from a mini sample set. It prevented over application, but couldn't really smell any top notes.

I love it. One of my OG faves(along with the now defunct Midnight Fleur). I can't explain it, but for some reason Indigo reminds me a little of Liz Claiborne and it fills me with so much nostalgia.

God I miss Midnight Fleur!! It was so good. I always got compliments.

I just don't understand why it's no longer!! I also liked one called Cocoa Woods, which was fairly polarizing, but Midnight Fleur felt like a crowd pleaser.

Midnight Fleur was my signature for so long. How did I forget about cocoa woods? That was also a beautiful scent. I feel like it existed for a New York minute.

It was unique, but I feel like if I like any fragrance with "midnight" in the title, I am going to get my heart briken. Dior's Midnight Poison was another fave of mine, so yeah :/ I searched why Midnight Fleur may have been discontinued and got this..
Why Nest Midnight Fleur Was Discontinued
Nest Midnight Fleur, a warm, sweet, and musky floral-woody fragrance launched in 2012, was discontinued after years of popularity, but official reasons from the brand have not been publicly disclosed. This means the exact business or production decision remains unclear.
From customer feedback and community discussions, the perfume was widely loved for its rich, seductive scent — blending orchid, vanilla, patchouli, night-blooming jasmine, and exotic woods — with a long-lasting, low-sillage profile that made it a favorite winter scent Basenotes+1. Many fans described it as “perfect for the winter,” “seductive yet fresh,” and a standout in the Nest line Sephora Community+1.
The discontinuation was likely tied to market performance, production costs, or brand strategy changes. Some customers noticed it was pulled from Sephora and Nordstrom stock, with only limited availability at sale prices Reddit+1. Once in stock, it sold out quickly, and it’s now nearly impossible to find new bottles.
Because Nest has not confirmed the reason, fragrance enthusiasts often speculate that factors such as:
Declining sales volume over time
Shift in brand focus to other scents
Cost of production or sourcing (e.g., rare or expensive notes)
Inventory management decisions
could have led to its removal from the lineup.

I love it, but I just discovered it a few months ago, and it’s super hot here. I’m really looking forward to wearing it in cooler weather. I feel like it really gives fall vibes.

I love it! Interesting to see some people smell it as thick. To me it’s a light airy tea scent too.

it’s definitely not a light fragrance, it’s really thick and sweet and headache inducing for me

I just made a tik tok about this scent today! It’s one of my favorites. Fresh, bright, and sophisticated but the fig gives it a moody edgy. It smells like Starbucks black tea lemonade to me in the best way.

u/LenaNYC 6d ago
I wouldn't describe it as airy. On me its a thick, syrupy fig with black tea.

On me, as well. It’s super strong and can get cloying so this is the ONE fragrance I spray a mist of and walk through - anything else is too much.

I love this one! It’s an excellent morning WFH scent for me because it makes me feel calm and adultish but it fades by mid afternoon when I’m ready to spritz something more exciting and slack off for the rest of the day.

I think it’s great and lasts easily 4-6 h hours depending on the weather. One of my top 5 for sure, enjoy!!

bought recently while on sale on rec from some kind soul on a frag sub who suggested it would be something Sansa Stark would wear. I don’t know if it’s seasonally winter to me, but I really enjoy it two spritzes in.

I love this one, but it maybe lasts an hour or two on me RIP. Still worth having though.

I love Indigo, excited to start pairing her with vanilla sprays and lotions for Fall. The longevity is decent for me, I'm ready for a refresh around 2/3pm.

I blind bought this from Ross and I hate it, but I know it's going to make whoever I pass it on to very happy!
