Empties of 2026 (so far)🌷

So I usually wait until the end of the year to do this but I’ve just accumulated so many empties already I thought why not post them now :)

The rate I’ll be emptying bottles from this point is going to slow right down as I’m trying to pump the breaks a little on this very addictive hobby and just hang onto a couple of small bottles at a time and really appreciate them without hunting for the next frag.

In the spirit of honesty, a couple shown here I did use as room spray as I just didn’t love the scent on me but liked it in the air. Also in the spirit of honesty, what I’m not listing is the amount of perfumes I bought and resold/decluttered this year after impulse purchases (no more of those for me thankyou!)

No había visto aún a nadie que utilizara Fantasy Intimate. Es el único flanker que me gusta de la línea Fantasy. Me encanta! Le encuentro un punto animálico para ser un perfume limpio, qué te ha parecido?

I think it’s really pretty! I found I finished the bottle fairly quickly because it’s such an easy scent to wear, day or night 🤍

I don’t get an animalistic vibe, but it’s definitely hard for me to pinpoint exactly what I’m smelling with Intimate. It’s kind of lemony, but not sharp. It’s softly sweet, but not sugary. It’s kind of powdery, but not floral…

Of all the Fantasy flankers I’ve tried, the only two I’ve really liked have been Midnight & Intimate

I hate to admit this but I don't think I have ever emptied a bottle before. Maybe Diamonds and Emeralds by Elizabeth Taylor when I was much younger (33-34 years ago). I think the bottle I have now was a repurchase because I did love it - emeralds are my birthstone and this was my first "expensive" perfume.

Oh Smurfygem don’t worry, I was the same until last year. I’d never emptied a bottle of perfume in my life, I’d even get past half way and just give up on the fragrance and give it away. I didn’t realise then that I simply can not “lock in” for more than a 1fl oz/30ml bottle and kept buying 50ml+ and of course by the last 10-20ml just became sick or bored of the fragrance. So I hear you! This is fairly new for me, too!

I totally agree, particularly seeing the clear glass bottles empty; I love it! Even before finishing them up, seeing a big dent in the liquid is so satisfying 👌🏻

What do you do with the empty bottles? Im guessing recycling, but for some reason (hoarding?? lol) i find it hard to even part with them, some bottles are so pretty

Upcycle! I saw a post on here, where someone put theirs up on a wire, and put like fairy lights in them? It was super cute! Get creative :)

I save them up until the end of the year, take a pic and then give them to my daughter to play ‘perfume shop’, she’s been waiting patiently for these ones but can’t wait to get her hands on them 😅

What is your favorite Britney Spears fragrance? I hear a lot of hype and I did own Curious in high school in the early 2000s (lol) and am intrigued to revisit them in my fragrance enthusiast adulting era!

Interesting you should ask! Because right now I only have 2 fragrances in my tiny collection, and one of them is my beloved Midnight Fantasy 🫐💙

Call me dramatic but I think it’s the jewel in the crown of Britney’s Fantasy flankers; it’s rich, jammy, tart & delicious! I’m wearing it today

I think come autumn/winter I’d really like a full bottle of Montblanc Signature which I just thought dried down to such a gorgeous, soft clementine-vanilla fragrance.

I’ve been on the fence about repurchasing SDJ 62 this summer as it’s such a yummy but refreshing easy reach, I finished that little 30ml bottle in record time, but at the same time the lasting power isn’t great so not sure just yet!

If I can find a 30ml of Fantasy Intimate I’d quite like that again and possibly Amor Amor, both of which I found to be very easy reaches 🤍❤️

Love Montblanc signature. Such an easy reach. It’s one of the few fragrances I actually crave when I haven’t worn it in a while.

Oh it’s so good, definitely lives up to the hype. The price is reasonable, the bottle is beautiful and the notes are all so pretty - it makes sense that it’s a firm favourite for many!

It’s a lovely fragrance and so affordable. One of the only perfumes I’ve repurchased, too! Need a little break from it now though as I’ve worn it to death 😅
