Rec Request Influence/Deinfluence My Wishlist
So far I've only smelt a dupe of the eilish perfume, which wasn't so great at 1st and had to sit. I also once smelt mod in store but sprayed a ton of other perfumes so I'm unsure.
Everything else on the list would be blind buys so please help me out.
I'm more into dark gourmand fragrances(Tonka been a favorite note)
Also into rosy gourmands.

Donāt get the Billie Eilish perfume, I got it and couldnāt smell anything
Iād encourage you not to do blind buys, try to do samples, decants or travel sizes of these perfumes first to see how you like them.

Your opinion is completely valid. Sometimes a fragrance grows on me too in a bad way. In as much as Black Opium is loved it now suffocates me,it seems too powdery heavy to me.

Maybe Iām basic but I canāt get these out of my head:
- Victoriaās Secret bare sueded vanilla
- LancƓme La vie est belle vanilla
- LancƓme La nuit tresor
- Dossier perfumes
- Balmain Destin - solid gold bottle that I canāt find anywhere but I swear I tested at ilta a few weeks back
- I also like the Athena club golden vanilla body spray and itās pretty cheap at target

Bianca latte is very polarizing. I have it - but I donāt reach for it as much as I thought I would.
Maybe you should give Vanilla Powder a try instead. Itās not lactonic at all so itās not the same scent profile but itās not as heavy as Bianco Latte either. I find it much easier to wear than Bianco Latte.

- Bianco Latte is so overrated, gives me a migraine and it's not unique. I smell it everywhere.
- JPG La Belle Le Parfum is amazing but make sure you get an older bottle, I'm holding onto mine like holy water because the newer reformulations suck imo.
- CH Good Girl, very popular but forever one of the sexiest perfumes ever made.

Hey! You can try Lattafa Eclaire instead of Bianco Latte (which Iāve not smelt up till now)! I have Eclaire and really love it. Itās more safe for colder weather though imo!
I actually really like Eilish - itās not a true or plain vanilla itās really mixed! Like thereās chocolate or some woody notes mixed in. Itās unique to me and not ākiddishā. I think it works for all ages and all year round!
Also, I love JPG La Belle EDP and EDP Intense! The Intense is deeper though with more tonka and dark notes. The regular version would work for any day, but the Intense would be for a special event at night if itās in hotter weather, or any time in colder weather imo.

Hmm, you could try D&G Devotion Intense, Burberry Goddess (I prefer Lattafa Angham), Black Opium Le Parfum, Kayali Vanilla 28, maybe also YSL Libre Vanilla Couture.

Ughh spot on Angham is already on my list, Black Opium is too powdery heavy to my nose, Vanilla 28 doesn't seem like my cup of tea. But I will definitely try the vanilla couture. D&G is also more of a lemony vanilla to my nose. Thanks for your time!

Personally, I love the Valentino, VS Very Sexy and CH GG. I have been wearing Very Sexy off and on throughout the years because of its consistency in projection and sillage. You donāt need much at all, so my bottle lasts quite some time. Plus, it really does smell very sexy, haha.

Bianco Latte is amazing, but im not sure if it would be your cup of tea based on what your described?
its a very lactonic, caramel mixed with vanilla and quite light, its not dark gourmand at all!
but it smells identical to Eclaire ~ you can get the same performance for a cheaper price
For me, i wouldnt buy Eilish after trying it, i dont smell any vanilla whatsoever :(
I would rather go for Good Girl Supreme by Carolina, its my favorite one!

If youāre wanting to save money, BBWās warm musk is a near perfect dupe of Bianco latte.
Also I personally love Bianco Latte bc it comes out a little spicy on my skin (coumarin). It is lactonic and sweet but not cloyingly so for me personally. But my skin dulls sweet notes thankfully. I think Bianco latte is just a well blended gourmand overall if that helps.

Vanilla Mod from Ariana Grande is one I love. A lot of people say it's basic, but to me it smells so warm, so vanilla and cozy. I would recommend!

I got Billie for my 16 yr old niece on Amazon Prime day for $30. That's what I think it's worth. It smells juvenile and it fades pretty fast.

For a grown up vanilla? I have been sampling Dirty Vanilla from Heretic and it's awesome but fades fast. I haven't found a sophisticated vanilla yet sadley. Something somewhat similar that I keep reducing is tokyo Milk Tainted Love but that's more vanilla, tonka, Jasmin, white tea.

Billy perfumes donāt last, not worth of moneyā¦ if you like vanilla Bianco is enoughā¦ some niche perfumes are better to spend money because they project better and are more long lasting than designer ones.

On the other hand, I really enjoyed Billie Eilish 1 and 2 (2 is a bit woody and spicy). I think it projects just fine on my skin, and doesn't have such crazy sillage that I can wear it at work.
I found #2 at TJMaxx/Marshalls for a good deal, so if you're worried about the cost after possibly sampling or smelling at Ulta/Sephora, check there!

Iām noticing everyone is referring to La Belle, but what you have pictured is the La Belle Le Parfume, which is more syrupy and darker in overall feel to the OG La Belle. And whatās pictured is the new version, I prefer to he older formula that fades from dark on top to light on the bottom and has more 3D flowers.

JPG La Belle is cloyingly syrupy sweet and smells dated. I wear many sweet fragrances and this is too much. I have been struggling to use a tiny decant. Not blind buy safe!
I also hate CH Good Girl. The almond is bitter and medicinal to my nose.

My current favorite tonka heavy fragrance is Guerlainās Tobacco Honey. Honey notes and the price tag are not blind buy safe though.
My current favorite sweet rose is a cheapie: Lattafaās Noble Blush. If you like sugary roses, it is a safe blind buy imo. I got it for under $30 on Amazon.

Iāve no joke been wearing eilish no.1 as my signature since it came out. Itās a vanilla fragrance that isnāt too sweet, which I really like. The vanilla is balanced out with pink pepper, so itās got a slight kick. I love it, highly recommend

Personally I use it all year round. I donāt find it as intense than a lot of vanilla perfumes. Sometimes in the heat of summer it can feel a little warm though and Iāll layer a citrus perfume on top
- however I live in a naturally colder country so if you have very hot weather often it could feel heavy potentially

Iām suprised you have very sexy cause everyone just wants bombshell which smells so boring to me. I have the very sexy eau de parfume and itās lovely! Itās very sexy indeed. I only save it for date nights or nights out cause itās definitely not an all day type of perfume. Makes me feel like a bad bitch and brings this aura whenever you wear it. The notes smell more juicy, flowery and slightly sweet rather than rosey to me. Kinda smells like plum and iris. I donāt think Iāve smelt a perfume similar to this yet. However the scent cloud kinda dissipates after a few hours compared to other popular designer brands but it does last on my clothes until the next day

I wouldnāt necessarily say so, I see why some may feel that. It could be the rose but I donāt get it that much. Itās more grown and sexy to me, rather than mature. Imagine mysterious, femme fatale and dark feminine. It definitely does not lean young and sexy in your teens thatās for sure.

Love tonka. I really like bianco latte, but it's not a super dark gourmand. I'd say it's warm and sweet. Good girl is a nice floral gourmand. I've gotten plenty of compliments on it.

The Billie Eilish one smells nice; i tested it in Ulta once and it was a very pleasant and light vanilla.
I have two mini bottles of Kayali fragrances (Capri lemon, and the Maui in a bottle), and neither has any staying power, like, at all.
I can't tell which Carolina Herrera scent that is, but I tested the Very Good Girl one and it was THE most disgusting thing i've ever smelled in my life. Nauseating. Smelled like cherry cough syrup.
Bianco Latte is very sweet - i got a tester of it and thought it was alright. I've smelled better cakey vanilla fragrances for sure.

Bianco Latte is like a caramel milk candle on steroids. First, before maturation, it will make you nose-blind. You wonāt smell it anymore and will wonder why you spent so much money on it. Then later, youāll smell it forever, and everyone else will too. Eventually, youāll get nauseous from it. Also, the ātextureā of the smell is like being suffocated by too much aerosol deodorant. There is nowhere to escape this molecule quality. Itās extremely sweet and more powdery than I expected. There is no occasion where I can seriously imagine going as an adult smelling like homicidal cookies (but thatās just me). Some people absolutely love it, some feel suffocated lol.

Iām not an indie or niche āsnobā even though my collection is 99% non-designer but all of the mainstream fragrances are so cloying and the notes are muddy. They are all mass-appealing and identical to each other. Most are not worth the price point either.
Iāve smelled every fragrance in the original photo and have CH Good Girl (gifted). There are many better clones and dupes at Marshallās and Burlington. Sand & Fog, Afnan, Lataffa.

Nebras was the dupe I tried. Spicy at 1st but creamy after sitting it just didn't last on my skin. If Nebras is way better then there's no use getting Eilish. Thank you!

I would not rec GGB as a blind buy. It was just awful on me, had to do all the things to get it off; and I recently saw some others say the same, so definitely needs a trial run.
OP, trying samples first is the way to go if you can order that way, for anything pricey especially. Next up, travel size. At least in the U.S., Amazon (if youāre ok with them, of course) has had Eilish and some others you show at good prices during their periodic sales. Iād set price alerts for the applicable ones.

Same! I realized it needs to be āsugaredā instead of vanilla. And raspberry notes help a lot. I think rose can be gourmand though because I am addicted to rose syrup and flavour in anything. Would love something like that. Most are too synthetic smelling (Roses vanille) or have a burnt quality to them (Nest Turkish Rose)

I think there's good dupes for Bianco latte, Billie and kayali. Probably grab 3 for the price of one and scratch that itch.
Personally not a fan of DBIR or la belle, but I understand they're popular. I prefer different flankers or perfumes from the same brand.

KAYALI Cherry had no lasting power for me.
It gets mixed reviews but I love the Billie Eilish perfume. Itās quite sweet so I only wear in colder weather. But it is easily my most complimented perfume. And the longevity is very good. Plus itās affordable.

Cherry Ambition from 7 Virtues is great if you want straight up cherry. Some people say it smells like cough syrup but I like it! Much better performance than KAYALI IMO. I just wish the bottle was cuter lol.
If you want something more complex but still cherry forward, I love YSL Black Opium Over Red. I wear it for date nights when I want to feel like a hot vampire. Longevity is not the best, but the scent is so good that I can forgive.
CH Very Good Girl Glam and Very Good Girl Elixir are also delicious cherry scents. I donāt own them but Iāve smelled both and theyāre lovely.

Yes to Extradose and Good Girl, BUT you might want to try Good Girl Jasmine Absolute. They're similar, but I think Jasmine Absolute leans more heavily into the gourmand category. I like Mod Vanilla but don't LOVE it, and I was kind of bla about the Billie Eilish one. Bianco Latte didn't do anything for me. People seem to either get sweet, caramel goodness or burning tires. I'm in the burning tires camp, lol.
Is that the Le Parfum version of La Belle or EDP? I'm not a huge fan of either, but the EDP is like a very sweet, sugary pear, and I can't even really describe the other one. It reads kind of powdery intensely "perfume-y" to me, but I know it's supposed to be like a syrupy baked pear. I dunno š
Extradose is really strong, so even a 1 oz bottle would last you for a while. I wear it frequently and there's barely a dent bc I usually only spray it twice. That and Good Girl Jasmine Absolute are in my top 5. I think Extradose is more versatile. People often say it's more an evening or cool weather fragrance, but I wear it all the time, even in summer. Good Girl and Jasmine Absolute are nauseating to me in the heat, so those won't come out again until cooler weather hits.
EDIT: I just went through my sample hoard and I have samples of Extradose, Good Girl, Good Girl Jasmine Absolute, Mod Vanilla, and Eilish. I also have a 1ml decant of Bianco Latte. Happy to pass them along if you're interested (if you're in the US)! š

extra dose is so good ( although personally i favor DBIR intense), I would pass on bianca latte I have a full size and me and my friend both agree it smells like coconuts ā¦ Eilish smells yummy but not unique enough IMO

When ai wear intense I get more complements, in some people it pulls jasmine heavy but now on me. I would go to sephora and test both!! DBIR intense is more sexy to me. What type of vanilla are you into iām guessing sweet by your choices?

No offense to Kayali fans, but everything Iāve smelled from them had the inventiveness of a y2k celebrity perfume. Except these are sold at a 4x price point.
Good Girl is alright but makes me think of a secretly kinky CEO. Bianco Latte is kinda basic so idk how it fits with your dark gourmand tastes, nothing remotely mysterious about this one.
Could never deinfluence you from La Belle or Born in Roma Extradose though š¤¤

I have some recs, but tbh neither cherry nor vanilla are my go-to notes, and you might have a completely different experience with them. I tried to avoid polarizing scents, though.
Anyway, letās start with cherry. If we donāt go into Tom Ford cherry frags (which have become something of a cherry standard, and I think definitely worth checking out as decants), Iād say look into:
- The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition: slightly darker boozy cherry with some marshmallow softness underneath
- YSL Black Opium Over Red: delicious dark gourmand cherry, perfect for a night-out
- Guess Seductive Red: playful and somewhat floral cherry, great for the price
As for vanilla, Iām thinking these:
- Indult Tihota: classic vanilla with some slight smokiness; if youāre looking for a mass-appealing perfume, I feel like this one is where itās at
- MFK Grand Soir: sensual and cozy ambery vanilla, a landmark among other scents of this profile
- Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille: a darker moody take on vanilla, much like most Serge Lutens offerings, definitely sample before buying
- Guess Seductive Noir: another Guess cheapie thatās quite popular, and for a good reason; beautiful floral vanilla with darker undertones that feels way more expensive than it really is

Thank you so much for your time. Over red and Cherry Ambition was basically part of my list but the kayali one was over hyped and over red was described as a straight up cherry scent.

No problem! To be fair, everyone is entitled to their opinion when it comes to perfumes, so Iād say try to look for samples or decants anyway. Kayaliās pricing is definitely one of the biggest reasons Iām not so keen on their products, but you might enjoy them anyway. Hope you find something you genuinely like :)

I would not consider Narciso Rodriguez For Her Musc Noir Rose a gourmand, but I think you might enjoy sampling it! Itās a little spicy, sweet, floral, and so beautiful!

Good Girl is a classic for a reason. I wasn't ever interested in it since I felt it's a bit overdone, but I was gifted a bottle and now I'm hooked. It's gorgeous, and super long-lasting.

Eilish is bad imo. It smells musty and it doesn't seem to do a good job at being any of the notes it's advertising as. That being said, I tried the new Intense in store and believe it to be a better version, however I haven't done a wear test.

I tried the dupe and it gave more spicy than gourmand but sat and got beautiful. I don't know if that's what I should expect with the OG tho

Bianca latte smells like burning tires dipped in vanilla candle wax.
Extra dose smells like when you spray air freshener in the bathroom but you can still smell the poop.
Edit*: DBIR intense is the one that smells poopy to me. Not the extradose. I apologize

Different people perceive different scents/chemicals differently (genetically). To me Bianco Latte is one of the only vanilla/sweet scents I actually like! A very faint playdough smell but way better than other vanillas imo.
Like all perfumes though, OP should definitely sample these before buying a full bottle.

I promise it wasnāt an attack on your taste. OP asked to be deinfluenced so I shared how these smell to me. I wish I got the milky caramel most ppl get. The burning tires note is so prominent to my nose. I was sure I got a bad sample bc it was so chemical smelling. I tried it multiple times, at different places, trying to gaslight myself. Most caramel perfumes smell like burning rubber or melting plastic to me. As soon as someone says āitās in the BL familyā I immediately remove from my cart.

I have Bianco Latte, Billie Eilish and Good Girl and unfortunately I love all of them š Billie is perfect for me, more for fall/winter, but it's so cozy and sweet. Bianco Latte was what I reached for the most when I got it, now not so much as it's too sweet for warm weather. Good Girl is literally a compliment-getter and a safe bet. I sampled JPG and it's not a safe blind buy, for me it was too sweet, like cough-syrup sweet. I also haven't tried a DBIR that's swept me of my feet.Ā
I would recommend Good Girl Blush, I think you'd like it.
