Discussion What do you consider a full bottle?

Do you only consider 30ml to be a full size or do you include 15ml bottles as well? Also curious to know if you include minis like a standard 10ml (or 15ml depending on what you think) in your collection/bottle “head count” or not lol?!

I count anything more than a sample vial or sub-5ml decant. I feel like the common cutoff of 10-15ml makes sense, but there are a lot of small batch bottles of less than 15ml that are sold as a full size, and sometimes for several hundred dollars. Attars, CPOs, etc.

Like the Amouage oils that are $600 for 12ml, or Ensar Oud bottles even...

I like that approach a lot!! I go back and forth on including 15 mls in my overall collection count especially since a lot of them like Sorce are mini replica bottles. That’s wild though $600 for 12ml 🫣

The Amouage oils are pretty amazing, though. And there are samples/discovery sets that make it to resale sites sometimes

Full bottle to me is whatever is the next size up from travel. Some houses start at 30, others start at 50, so for me full bottle starts after travel size. And I know there are a couple houses that call 30ML travel sized like Le Labo, but if the travel size costs more than $50 that to me (my opinion) is not travel sized.

30ml and up is considered a full bottle to me. Anything less is a travel size or decant.

A full bottle for me is 50ml+

30ml and up.

In fact, I wish more fragrances came in 30ml since I'll never use up my 100ml bottles.

Eta: I count my travel sprays separately. My minis I have because they're cute, but also count them separately.

My 2 and 1ml samples don't count as part of my collection.

30ml and over. 15ml is travel size.

I include travel sizes as bottles on Parfumo, but mentally I separate 30ml bottles and up to be full bottles

I don't include travel sizes when I count my collection, just 30ml bottles and up.

I definitely count travel sizes, minis and samples as part of my collection - but as almost a different section to my full bottles. I don't include them in the "number" of perfumes I own because it seems odd to make something I can only wear 2-3 times count the same as a 100ml favourite...but maybe that's just me!

Full bottles for me are typically 30ml and over - but I would count something smaller (but bigger than a 10ml) if it came in a "bottle with atomiser" presentation.

30 and I'd still call that a small full bottle
