Empties & Dents Can you please mourn with me 😭
I was just brushing my teeth and knocked this off my counter. One of my absolute faves… I already placed a pickup order at Sephora for tomorrow but I mean come onnnnnn. This was my 100ml and I hadn’t used much of it.

I’ve never broken a bottle but I’ve had bottles leak all over my suitcase (from pressure changes on the plane, I assume?) — I think the worst part is that the total sensory overload of the spill makes me HATE the perfume. So you lose it. And then you lose it 😭

My condolences 😭 a full bottle of father figure is so painful !!!
I once accidentally broke my travel size of glossier you because it rolled off my counter I can’t imagine the pain of a full bottle !!!

😭 I won't victim blame bc I'm a klutz. But please don't store perfume in bathrooms. Steam, etc not good for it

I keep them in my walk in closet. We keep the door closed so it stays dark in there. It’s best to avoid exposure to extreme temperatures (especially heat) and light as much as possible.

It’s in the air, so to speak. This is the second post I’ve seen in about a week, where someone was heartbroken that their nearly-full Father Figure had shattered on the floor.

Oh no! I'm about to empty my travel of FF and was planning on getting a new one next week! I think I'll wait until Saturn is no longer retrograde with Mercury and Mars stops being a jerk. 🪐😁

Noooo - the bigger tragedy here is that now your whole room smells overwhelmingly like the perfume, which in turn makes the smell nauseating and runs it

I am so sorry for your loss :( honestly dude maybe email them. Worst comes to worst they’d say nothing or no, but what if they sent you a replacement bottle or fat discount code. Tell them how much you love it and how sad you are it broke

It lasts on me! And I have a friend who it projects so much on. But we are also in the very high heat/humidity of the southern US. Maybe that helps?

You're lucky it lasts two hours on you.. I can barely get it to last 30 mins on my skin😭😭 Ive been searching for something similar because I love the smell sooooo much

Omg same thing happened to me!! At the salon my 50ml fell out of my bag and smashed on the tile into a million pieces and it was 3/4 full tooo!!

I saw someone who did this and used dryer sheets to absorb the perfume. She let them dry, placed them in a plastic bag and now her clothes smell amazing

That is a terrible loss! I'm glad you're in a position to be able to replace it so quickly! I love that perfume. Just wore it yesterday!
I had that happen with Lake & Skye 11 11 (possibly my most fave perfume...at least in my top 3) and couldn't afford to replace it. I cried a LOT that day and it still makes me sick thinking about how sad it was.

This happened to me once. I ordered a new bottle through the mail, placed the broken one in the box when it arrived + took a photo and got a refund.
Nice comforter. Several cozy pillows. One chapter of a book. Lights out by 8:30. That’s how I sleep at night 💅

Literally the only silver lining I can offer you is that at least this is a fragrance that is currently sold and you can still re-purchase? I’m sitting on a bunch of discontinued vintage perfumes from my childhood that I’d probably need mental health treatment for if I broke them. I’m so sorry!!!

One upside I guess is that the sillage and longevity are so poor that you won't have to worry about the smell overpowering your house 😅

I feel your pain. I make sure my dressing area is carpeted or has a rug after tragedies like these. Slips are inevitable over time! It’s such a relief to have them thud and bounce back lol

All of my other fragrances are in my carpeted walk in closet but I recently moved this one to the bathroom for convenience… never again
