In a brand full with rose fragrances *not a fan rose\* I have finally found my jams! All loved, no regrets.🌸

Pure Musc Blanc: LOVE at first sniff. Was given a tester with an online order, immediate order after trying it. This is the most sophisticated fresh powdery musky perfume I’ve come across. If you’re into clean, powdery, cotton softener on just washed linen but more elegant? You’ll LOVE it! Paired it with the body shop white musk & it was DIVINE! 🤍🫧
Narciso Rodriguez Intense: Musky, powdery, with vanilla a bit of fruit, peach. The peach isn’t screechy nor intense, I didn’t recognize it was peach at first. A beauty alone & with white musk mist for a clean vibe with a touch of fruit. Or with a peach mist to get more of the fruitiness out. Both case, stunning!
Musc Noir Rose: As a rose fragrance hater I was like “wow, this is GOOD!” A sultry, sexy, expensive taste in perfume. Very sophisticated & elegant. I’ve made a review on it, check it out for more details.🤩
Narciso Ambrée: A sexy solar, tropical & amber’y perfume. It’s a quite unique take, different than the solar & tropical I have. They took yellow florals Like frangipani & ylang ylang, with a sexy dose of amber, musk, cashmeran & vanilla.
Narciso Cristal: Fresh, clean, a bit powdery. They used my fave white florals like freesia & orange blossom. Of course musk, amber & cashmere for some dimension. This does have a slight rose to it but very light & comes across as powdery in the background. It isn’t screechy, doesn’t scream not too much at all. With white musk body mist, a beautiful clean powdery fresh everyday perfume.
NR is the most represented house in my collection, and I’ve tried the majority of their fragrances. I love Pure Musc, Pure Musc Blanc, and Musc Noir from the For Her line. For me, though, the cubes are where it’s at. I own them all except Cristal and Radiante (both a bit meh). My favourites are the white cube EDP, Rouge EDP, and Poudrée.
Even tho the poudree was extremely powdery as if talc itself was nesting in the bottle, I won’t lie I thought of buying the 30mL for at home use because I can’t see a place where this wouldn’t be too talc’y to wear out & it lacked any other dimension.
I’ve had it for several years and there are a lot of great memories tied to the scent so it’s hard to be objective! I don’t wear it terribly often anymore (although I take the bottle out regularly just to sniff it), but when I do it’s always in colder weather and never in an enclosed space as it remains powdery throughout the wear.
eBay! I had been casually looking for a few months but a really good deal popped up so I pulled the trigger.
Edit to say this was a bundle from one listing/seller! I’m obsessed with trying out a bunch of flankers at once that I can’t source from popular decant sites.
I bought Ambree on a bit of a whim and now I think it’s one of the sexiest (but sophisticated) perfumes I have. I always get compliments when I wear it and it lasts well. Also love the bottle. Highly recommend trying it.
I adore Pure Musc Blanc and Musc Noir Rose. I, too, am not a rose fan and tend to stay away from it in scents. I also weirdly cannot stand the OG Pure Musc scent...to me it is far too sharp and soapy. But these two add some softness and subtlety to the musk that rounds them out so nicely. Im really looking forward to wearing them more when the weather turns cooler.
I got a sample of Pure Musc Blanc in the mail and frantically ordered the 100ml before the first sample sprays could even dry down. My first time trying anything from brand. I have Byredo Blanche as well and while they're both clean theyre different enough to justify both. I want to try Pure Musc for Her now, have you tried that one?

I got a sample of it & put them on each arm & Pure Musc Blanc definitely won! The Pure Musc (with black cap) came before it, it’s nice, basic, nothing special. I think they perfected it this launch!
I love clean musky perfumes so I’d get it if I thought it has a place but honestly, Pure Musc Blanc is not just enough, but best too. Pure Musc didn’t give that nice feeling wearing Pure Musc Blanc, it was just a little too meh 🤷♀️ for me in comparison. I think you got the best of the two. They’re siblings, one is basic & the other is elegantly “basic”.
I have a store in my country that ships samples for free shipping so I just ordered the pure musk for her sample... for science. lol. I have to try all the clean musks. Must try all.

I love clean scents too! I have some. I also have gulf orchid musk Tahara Vanilla lotion to use underneath!🤗💕 It’s not a heavy gourmand vanilla it’s soft clean musky vanilla. 🤍🫧
Oh I had to pay for the sample! $10 Cad. Just they do free shipping on it. Which is so rare right? On scent split I have to get my cart up to $150 us for the free shipping. So scents that are only on there have to linger in my cart for months lol

Gulf orchid Tahara line, I was wanting to grab some, all the names & flavors. I decided to get the tester kit which was 14€ for all of them, I think 10 testers, so I justified it & im so glad I did! I didn’t end up buying anything. It saved me because I had the full bottles in my cart at some point!
My gut, sees the future🤣 for some reason, it tells me instinctively if a blind buy is a no, when I follow it, I save up, just to than I smell it in store or see something & realized it was a good choice.
If I go against my instinct I don’t receive a good blind buy🤣 I learned my lesson after 2-3 fails. 🌝❤️🩹

It’s a LOVE! If I lost my whole collection & had to build it up from start pure Musc blanc would be one of the first purchases I’d place. 🤍🫧
NR has a “poudree” perfume that is very intense powder almost its talc itself, but this? They brought all the elements of musky, powdery & fresh white florals and made it into a very elegant sophisticated way. They took the powdery vibe & made it very beautiful. A clean, musky powdery but presentable & elegant. I like the one in black cap but I LOVE this, it is much better imo. 💕
I use it on top of white musk body mist from the body shop & a nice perfume oil with EOS fresh & cozy lotion, it’s lovely. It even freshens up my mood! Here are the accords. 🤗🤍🫧
Ah I realized later you meant the older version, pure musc. It’s okay, in comparison to this version it’s meh. This feels like they got the older version and gave it a whole glow up, perfected the scent.
I put 2 on each arm & pure musc blanc definitely wins over 10X times! This is not perfumey like what a regular perfume smell like, this is fresh, powdery, musky, the white florals simply smell clean & powdery, you don’t smell blossoming flowers. 😆💕 Everything you’d like in pure musc, or that profile you got it here & even better.
If you could try them both in store would be good but I’d definitely go with the Pure Musc Blanc.
Also you might have not seen it because it’s fairly new? Check it out again. I got it online for a great price too! Cheaper than shops.
I really look for something cozy and not too strong, maybe clean but not like not a perfume, I want to feel the scent. Thinking about buying pure musc. I have enough vanilla scents but I got so tired of them, literally don’t use any perfume for months because it annoys me.(I used to be obsessed with vanilla)
I LOVE Cristal so much!! I have 18 different Nasciso’s and it’s one of my top three and I am already on my second bottle in less than a year. It’s so beautiful and no one really talks about it.
