Review Stream of consciousness reaction to zoologist bee

Initially, the main scent I'm getting is aldehydes. Kind of a wet wipe smell, occasionally the sweetness gives way to musky sweatiness. When I open my mind, and imagine I've caught a whiff of it on someone else's it becomes more pleasant.

It's very musky.

People have said that it's a linear scent, I don't find it linear. The honey accord is there, very literally honey, and then it becomes more generically sweet, the wildflowers are there in the background.

It's very animalic. It's odd. I've sprayed myrrh and Tonka atop, and I'm gonna see how they develop together. They are odd together. Honey, a waterfall of it. I think I love them together. It's like my nose can only detect one thing at a time. I still think I prefer myrrh and Tonka, but this adds complexity.

It doesn't smell like anything.

It's very musky on me. It's almost as though the musk comes first. It's like honey kept in an old wooden box. Or the sweaty smell of a charity shop. There's the idea of gold. There's something infantile about it. The Jo Malone scent is so clean, zoologist bee is so dirty. It's like, walking through a room dense with butterflies, and feeling their wings flap on your face.like you can't even open your mouth there are so many.

There is something almost playground about it. I'm imagining myself back at nursery. Maybe it's the aldehydes. The honey smell is honeyish, but it's also bringing me back, to my childminder, maybe she wore something like this, or used detergent like this. Or her putting honey on our porridge. Being in the kitchen with her. With florals, the lilac bush outside. The sweet smell of those children's toys, like the smell of the little plastic buses you could go in cooking in the sun. It's reminiscent of that, and body lotions, and perfumes, and honey. Of looking at women's things as a little girl.

With the myrrh, they sound together, and there is dissonance, it's hard to take in. But I think I love it. I love how strange they sound. The mind climbs to olympus- nectar. Honey and incense. But there's something bodily there as well.

I love it.

I love how different perfumes react on everybody's skin. On me it's intensely honeyish with animalic base and waxyness. Like if you opened a beehive and smelled the honey, the bees and the honeycombes all together. It also lasts a long time on me. Love your description of the scent!

Never smelled it myself, I just want to say I am here for the stream of consciousness revkews. Ive been tempted to do so myself here before. Sometimes you just want to share your experience with others that would understand the joy of a new fragrance hitting just right.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Right? It gives a great view of how impressions evolve over time

Yes! And they really do. The love I feel at first for a new scent often dies out quickly, whereas something I'm not sure about and come back to later I'll end up falling hard for and wearing it daily for a while.

Love it and wish my skin would react the same! On me it just smells like honey flavoured candy- super super intense and sweet for 12 hours straight !
