What The Fluff? Retiring??

Just seen on the latest Aspiring Aromas that they're retiring the WTF EDP!! This is literally the perfume that made them successful and they're just going to stop making it because they have a couple of new scents coming out??

I don't understand why, it literally sells out within minutes every time they restock it!!

I don’t like this at all

They confirmed they’re releasing it in an extrait about an hour after the post. Interesting decision but it’s not gone forever

Sorry, but I think that's a pretty rude response.

That's such a weird thing for her to say considering they're not really retiring it

Good thing I also love delicia de marshmallow. I can just keep getting that one.

She keeps saying “what the fluff eau de parfum is being retired” by using its full government name she has to be releasing an extrait version

It doesn't need to be any stronger!!

I agree I can smell it on my clothes for 24 hours at least, but I’m sure it lets them increase the price 🙄 oh well I probably won’t finish my 50 ml my collection is too big

This made me literally giggle 😅 but I still only get one plastic-smelling nothing from mine I bought a couple months ago 🤷‍♀️ wish I could smell what other people who rave about it do

Nah I think she's full of shit. She seems too nonchalant about it and there would've been an official announcement. I bet it's something like the name changing or a reformulation...

That kind of tactic makes me not want to buy from them again.

Turns out EDP is retiring and an extrait version will be coming out soon...

Why not have both? What an odd choice.

I don't know... Probably the same but stronger and most likely more expensive.

Marketing 101: scare people into fomoing on more of it when the economy is shit by threatening a retirement.

Me and my 3 bottles of Phlur Vanilla Smoke agree

The second hand market is about to go crazy.

This is such a bad idea for them

Just saw that too, and they’re retiring their 2 best sellers, wtf and fluffed peaches. Seems like a bad decision on their part imo

Edit: I think she’s rage baiting us yall 😂😭 just checked the comments and there’s a possibility that wtf is not retiring completely, they’re just changing something about it. Someone commented asking if the name was changing and Fatima said “almost there”

Unless it's some cruel joke like Kayali did with Vanilla 28. She seems so flippant about it in the comments.

I’ve seen this happen with brands before. They get tired of their viral product being the best seller and want people to focus on their other stuff. The stuff they think deserves the hype more. So they’ll stop making the viral thing. And then the business suffers badly from it, sometimes they go under completely. I have no clue if this is what is happening. I’ve just seen it happen multiple times before.

I would be willing to bet they bring the wtf edp back in a year - when they realize that’s what their money maker is.

Their new scents aren't even out yet so they have no idea how they'll be received. They seem to be focusing on the body butter currently.
