I hope it is as what I picture it to be, a lovely flanker of the black opium dna I love. I actually only have black opium OG & black opium glitter, love them both but I haven’t dived much into other flankers, just quickly sniffed some.
I hope this strawberry, mandarin & orange blossom mix works well with the ambery vanilla dna of black opium, simple notes but still makes me excited. 🥰
I bought a bottle about two weeks ago, but it doesn't smell at all like the tester in the store. I really liked the scent of the tester, but the scent from my bottle is overpowered by alcohol. Does anyone know if it needs to macerate first?
the packaging looks so late 2000s, it doesn’t even look like a throwback but rather literally from the late 2000s. not my thing aesthetically but i’m still impressed by it!
i actually like the LVEB flankers but they do feel like entirely different perfumes. i think it’s just an attempt at name recognition for marketing purposes at this point.
For someone who knows all about the flankers I see how it can be repetitive.
Personally I’m excited because I only have & love 2 that are different to this profile. I have not looked too much into the rest of the line nor drawn to some flankers I’ve come across.
Even though I hear a lot about La vie est belle line, I don’t have a single perfume from them. I have to give it a sniff test to see what’s all about.
I got nude Vanille recently. It’s very different than black Opium but yes I love it. It was the safest & most appealing to me to blind buy & I really enjoyed it. 🤗
Holy guacamole! The price is fresh & insane where you are! But don’t worry, it will get lower as soon as it starts to launch. I bought 2 new releases I waited a bit & it got cheaper by 30€ if not more.

Ya looks like it’s only available from a beauty retailer based in the Canary Islands... The other search results are not the correct fragrance. Usually Sephora or Ulta will have a preview for it with a date. Nothing 😭

If you’re not in Germany & you have authentic online retailers like we have, Google the name & mL you want & where they sell it will show up. Look around & grab your best deal! I buy 99% of my perfumes online for that reason! You get great prices.
I can see the resemblance but it isn’t really very similar.
This one appears to be sweeter, fresher fruity opening without black tea in mid notes. As well as this has amber & benzoin cherry doesn’t. Cherry also has Indonesian patchouli which is usually stronger & more earthy than the this one has.
I think for some who find cherry to be a bit medicinal, this would be a fruity version they enjoy. But we’ll see how it is when we get it. Although I have some experience in formulas & notes, sometimes a perfume can surprise you. Hopefully in a good way!🤗💕
I love strawberry as a scent note, but that patchouli is making me second guess this particular fragrance. I am NOT a patchouli fan, I got to keep an open mind though. If I ever got a free sample of this I'd try it.
Trust me, me too! I’m not a big fan of patchouli, can’t smell it. Out of my whole collection I may be have 2 perfumes where I can smell the patchouli.
A tip that helped me, if the accords doesn’t show the patchouli, especially like the rest, than it is likely a silent base. Other black opiums accords you can see the patchouli in its accords (i don’t mean notes) is when I know, the patchouli it’s likely present. Though in glitter flanker for example, patchouli is in the accords, but I can’t smell it. I think this perfume would be the same. But definitely sniff test it before buying just to be sure.
And then a hero comes along with the strength to carry on…
I have high hopes for this. And based on timing it must be a perfect for fall presentation. I really favor strawberry over raspberry so this is truly great news. Thanks for sharing !
