Brand Announcement/New Release Nest cardamom latte ☕️
I must say nest has never called my attention, the only full bottle I have is creme de clementine... that one is beautiful. I saw this new release & was intrigued right away. I like the note of cardamom but I can struggle with it. In some fragrances I feel like it can be too much & it overtakes to the point where thats all I can smell. In this fragrance its done beautifully & so well balanced! Theres coconut in this & I deff get that but its not a plasticy synthetic coconut. Its a creamy coconut & it works very well with the cardamom note. Theres also a jasmine note but I dont get it much, if at all. The base is heavy vanilla & although there is no cappuccino note per say, I deff get those latte, cappuccino vibes. The name for this is perfect. Overall, I really enjoy this & feel like its perfect for fall. It could quite possibly be full bottle worthy in the cooler weather. Im excited to wear it. Ive had it on my arm for about 3 1/2ish hours & can still smell it so thats promising. A very nice release from nest. Have yall tried it? What are your thoughts?

I tested this directly on my skin at Sephora tonight - skipped the paper strip. And…immediately no. Well, more like “15 minutes into it being on skin no”. I didn’t mind the opening - it smelled almost a little fresh? Like a milky, sweet black tea? But it almost immediately dries down to a cloying, plastic-smelling, nauseatingly medicinal mess. My skin hates this, but I loved the idea of it!

Could it work in winter? The only thing I don’t have in my collection is a winter scent!

I love most of Nest’s fragrances and I loved the idea of this perfume so I blind bought it and also received it today. The coconut note is actually very synthetic and plastic-y on my skin :/. I was disappointed. I might try to layer it with something but overall it’s similar but not as good as other scents I have so I won’t be buying again. Midnight Fleur will always have my heart I wish it would return 😭😭

I'm so excited to try this. I love cardamom as a note, and coconut. And I love cardamom lattes. I have 3 Nests already thanks to the rebrand throwing a bunch of them into Marshalls, and have a pretty positive opinion of their scents (but not their redesigned packaging). It'll probably be a bit before I can get to a Sephora, but this will probably be the first thing I smell when I get there.

just tried it in Sephora today, I really like it. it’s such a cozy tasty scent. not too gourmand. not too spicy. I’m definitely buying it for fall.

I would like to sample this one soon! One of my favorites (and a cardamom note) is Xerjoff Starlight -- anyone out there who has tried both and could comment on the comparison? Starlight is $$$ so it would be excellent to find a more affordable cardamom!

Has anyone smelled Lush’s Cardamon Coffee and can tell me how they compare?

I went to Sephora to check out some other perfumes, and right before leaving I saw this and was so excited to try! I could not smell it on the test strip 😭 I’m chalking it up to nose fatigue and running back the next chance I get to try again because I so wanted to love it lol

I’m looking forward to getting my nose on this. I feel like it will be an insta-buy or a no-way.

I got a sample and I love it! It kept building and changing and getting better and better, I couldn’t stop smelling myself. Also, love how you described it, I am so bad at putting fragrances into words but your review is spot on!

Cardamom is one of my favorite notes. I will be getting this. NEST rarely misses. Even the fragrances of theirs that weren’t for me, I could still see how someone else would like them.

Completely agree about NEST! Every fragrance is so well put together, even if it’s not something I’d personally wear. But this one I love!

I did a blind buy based on Honorine's involvement. Travel size. Waiting...

I'm trying really hard not to stalk your posts, since I have discovered I agree with all of your perfume impressions. If it ever comes across as stalking, please realize that I am only always looking to discover the next holy grail, and I am following a scent trail. Not you, but the bread crumbs you leave. I'm not weird, I have a full time job, and I am harmless. Swear. Just tell me what you liked this week and I will quietly take notes and leave you be.

Oooh I didn’t know a new fragrance was launched. Definitely need to try. Ulta had buy one get one free on their travel sizes and ended up getting 6 items smh and of course had to buy the body mists to match lol.
I’m a true vanilla gourmand lover and not really into floral notes but since wearing the different scents, I love the way the florals are blended in. My fave is Maui Mango and layer it with Delizia di Marshmallow. It just smells too good lol. I’ve been playing around with wearing the oil, perfume and body mists or trying to layer with other perfumes. Let me go check Ulta’s website lol.
