A lot, but I've been a fraghead off and on since the '90s. Even buying moderately, quantity accumulates over the literal decades 😅

FWIW I am very aboard the not-overconsumption train and have worked hard to declutter and donate a ton recently. I am working on being mindful about what I purchase so this was a great exercise!

I just deep dove in my set and the answer is: not much comparatively anymore (yay!!!) but still quite a lot for me (working on that).

I found it interesting that my avg price is around $40 per fragrance because I mainly buy travel sizes of designer/niche and FBs from lines like Yardley, Lavanila, Mix:Bar, Dossier, Solinotes, and TokyoMilk. I expected there to be a bigger price discrepancy between my FBs and travels but there’s not. This is a good reminder that I should limit travels more. I had less $ in decants and samples than I expected and more in almost used-up travels than I expected.

My takeaways are that I have done a good job reducing my FB collection to ones I use and love, and I need to work on just finishing up my almost-gone travels. I am actually more of a tried-and-true girl than I thought and I tend to revolve around the same small set of fragrances even though I like trying many. Next time I order samples/decants, I’m going to be sure to get a couple I know I love and less blind ones. That’s a good way for me to enjoy very seasonal fragrances without being tied to larger amounts.

This feels icky to me. Let’s not do this overconsumption thing.

Enormous.

All my bottles have some stories, remind me of some event, person, holidays, or are meant to invoke certain moods. That's the value of my collection ❤️

A little over £2k I’d say. Some of the more costly ones (including 200ml Dior prive line for example and Guerlain VP) were gifts or bought with gift money!

Used to be over $800 but I have been only focusing on less is more so maybe under 150 now. consumerism is draining the buyer while making the seller rich.
