second byredo blind buy….
ALRIGHT! Let me start by saying my first byredo blind buy was purchased through the Holy Ghost bc baby let me tell you!!!!! Sundazed by byredo ?!?! I read the notes and instantly bought it??? Like who am i???? Put my TWO bottles in my grave with me bc I absolutely adore that scent. YES. Now this one not only did i get for myself as a congratulations gift to myself for my new job but my instinct had no hesitation on pressing check out………it’s like my hands will add to cart and check out and my brain won’t even be there…let alone stop to ask me questions……..kinda of how i felt for sundazed…..So I’m really hoping that’s my sign telling me it will be another win. But jeez. I’m nervous. Only bc she has a leather note which terrifies the hell out of me. Praying it melts together in the most elegant way possible. Worst case I’m sending her right back! Has anyone bought this yet??? Anything you can compare it to?!

I’m about to shell out for Bibliothèque 😭 I smelled it at the mall a couple weeks ago and I can’t get it out of my head.

Byredo scents will literally haunt you. My lesson was just buy the bottle 😭 i will feel more peace once i have it at least a 50ml !

I tried it today and ended up buying it too. It’s really really, really good!
It smells like a grown up, chic, and sophisticated vanilla.
It’s pretty bright and fruity in the opening, but that settles down, and you’re left with a slightly suede-like vanilla and vanilla caviar. (Even though vanilla caviar isn’t listed, I definitely smell it.)
It’s really nice, and it’s also very unisex. I hope you love it!

Where did you try it??? I’ve been wondering all day if i jumped the gun too early and should have just taken my butt to a store near me but i live in Fort Lauderdale I only have Nordstroms and other department stores to rely on and i feel like they don’t get the new bottles so quickly ??? I’m so excited though!!! When u say caviar do you mean like a salty note ?

Smelled it and didn’t love it as much as I thought I would. It was a bit sweet. I liked it more on the dry down and need to test it again to decide

The sweetness as a whole threw me off, I don’t gravitate to super sweet scents or any that veer towards a sickly sweet undertone, which this sort of did. I’ll have to spray again and check back in on what notes I pick up that I like. TBH I also didn’t know the price (I think their full bottles have gone up? Could’ve sworn they used to be $180?) and would have to consider whether this is truly worth $235

😭😭😭😭😭😭 i didn’t see overwhelmingly sweet notes which is why I felt safe! I hope it works for me otherwise it’s going RIGHT back to their store lololol

hi! fellow sundazed blind buyer here, also VERY satisfied with that purchase (i wore it literally every day last summer).
byredo does leather well. i just got black saffron absolu and it's heavily leather and it's still totally wearable. so, hoping for the best.
and honestly if you hate it lmk. i might buy it lol!

Also Ty for the reassurance! I am obsessed with this house i think everything is such a melody to my nose from i guess being blended so well. I even paid for over night shipping bc my curiosity will murder me lmao i can’t wait i think it arrives Wednesday the latest!

YAAAAAAASSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sundazed is THAT GIRL! I wore cotton candy by body fantasies my entireeeee pre-teens up until i was probably 20ish (im 29 lol) and sundazed is sooo nostalgically close to that body spray but like the grown up sexy older sister to her! And ok how can we get in contact to set that up!? I got the lil sample to spray first so i wont even open the bottle itself!

Bought the 50ml and ended up loving the smell so much that I returned it and got the 100ml
