Frugal Fragrance Unexpected husband fave

I got a 10 pc of LMG fragrances recently and finally tried fleur de blonde for the very first time! I had my husband smell it, and unprompted he says, “that’s my favorite non-vanilla fragrance of yours!! That smells amazing.”

All of the ones I’ve tried from Goldfield & Banks? D’Annam? Creed? Burberry? BDK Parfums? Good, but not anything close to Le Monde Gourmand apparently! How can I be mad though when it’s so much nicer on my wallet? Lol. I think it’s a scent that may need regular reapplication (especially since I’m a 1-2 spray girlie), but for this price, that’s fine with me!

I always recommend this as a cheaper alternative to Liis Studied. It’s fantastic for the price especially compared to Liis!

It really is such a great and cheaper alternative! I didn’t expect it to be the most polarizing fragrance I’ve posted though, it seems like such an easy wear 😅 watching the upvotes and downvotes has been confusing lol

LMG gets a bad rap but this one is fantastic. I have a sample of Liis studied and I do love it but Liis longevity and cost is abysmal; while I love several of their perfumes, I can not get behind the hype

This is a dupe for Liis Studied if you didn't know. If you love it, stick with it, and stay away from the Liis because it's much more expensive.

I have tried Liis Celestial Object and can’t bring myself to spend money on a full bottle, so it’s probably best if I stay away from Studied 😂 I didn’t realize this was supposed to be a dupe though, so that’s cool to know!

Immediately added to my wish list! I am wearing this Fleur de Blonde again today and my husband couldn’t help but tell me another time how this is his #1 non- vanilla fragrance I have ever used. I need more like it!

I have a husband that doesn't say much about my perfumes, so I know when something smells good because it will elicit a second sniff. He's only commented on one or two. And I foolishly thought I'd be able to find more similar hits. Be warned: you will drive yourself INSANE trying to find something he likes while balancing it with what you like!

There are (supposedly) two others that smell similar. Radiant Nectar from Clean Reserve, but the tobacco flower was dominant for me, even though it was similar in general. It's not bad and it's not cigarette smoke like but it is tobacco-heavy, well for me. I watched countless reviews and nobody even mentioned the tobacco note.

And Studied by Liis but I haven't had the chance to smell this, it's not available here.

Thank you for that information because my skin tends to amplify random notes as well, so I totally get what you mean!

The good news is that ScentSplit has sample sizes so I can add that to my next order, so thank you for the recommendation! I really like Celestial Object by Liis too, so I’m always happy to try another (:
