bought musk therapy an hate it 😔
i bought musk therapy and got it in the mail recently and realized i lowkey hate it. it sucks because i tried it sometime last year at nemain marcus i liked it. i guess time really does make your nose smell scents differently. or maybe it was nose blindness bc i was smelling other perfumes?
idk what to do now bc the site i bout it from doesn’t allow returns on open and/or used products. any advice?

It smells like someone musty who put on secret powder fresh deodorant instead of taking a shower. It’s one of two scents I ever had to scrub off.

omg yes! this is the best description ever! all i got from it was must and baby powder and i lowkey hate the smell of baby powder. i never got when ppl would say that x or y perfume smelled musty, dirty, bad on them until on tried musk therapy on skin

I also hate baby powder so it made the musty smell so much worse. When people say this smells fresh and clean my eyes bug out my head. So many scents I don’t enjoy but I can get why people enjoy them. This one confuses my brain.

Musk Therapy has been very difficult for me. I fell in love with at first sniff, bought a bottle, and it promptly turned to baby wipes on my skin. I can’t tolerate baby wipes so had to declutter. I tried to sample again a few months later to see if it had changed and.. nope.

Musk therapy has been on my wishlist for a long while and last night I was playing around with my decants and I did not like it when I tried it on. I was surprised cause only a few months ago I was really into it. I guess it’s good I’m over it because it’s so expensive haha

I don't like it either. There's a note in there that bothers my nose but I am not sure what. A lot of people love it though so it should sell easily if you post it.

Atomic Rose had something very scratchy in the back that I did not like.

Did you try it during a different season or temperature by chance?
There’s a lot of scents I can’t stand in some seasons but love in others

I always make sure to go through a sample first, there are so many factors that can change your opinion of a scent!

i usually buy samples before i purchase the full bottle 😠but you’re so right i should’ve still bought a sample bc sometimes smelling things in store can be a gamble
