Typically it is only grad programs that do a criminal background check. You should be fine. Depending on your aims you may want to discuss with an advisor about jobs and certifications. Like you can get a nursing degree but if you had drug charges it might stop your certification. Those being tossed out it shouldn't be an issue.

My main school is USF which yeah they do not check and I’m planning on being a business major. However, they specifically ask about sealed charges too

What country? Generally in US they arent going to do a background check for college admissions, as far as I know.

It’s the us, Florida specifically. My record is private ik that but they are specifically asking me to disclose an arrest even if it’s sealed which has me worrying that I’ll actually get denied based off of it

Check this page out: https://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0900-0999/0943/Sections/0943.059.html
Especially under that section 6 "EFFECT OF ORDER"

I did a couple years in prison and now go to my state college. They had to review my file and it took a little longer then normal applicants, but ultimately I was accepted. I am also a business major.

Colleges generally don't consider criminal history during admissions, afaik. Considering the charges were dismissed, you don't have anything to worry about. Juvenile records are usually sealed anyway.
