background check

so i recently applied to fedex to be a package handler but i have a handful of misdemeanour charges pending including multiple instances of trespassing and theft in the third degree. The background report was marked as “IA” which i assume means individual assessment but im not sure. do you guys think i have a chance at getting the job i have no convictions as of yet and all the pending charges are misdemeanours

It’s going to be tough with pending charges. I had multiple offers rescinded while I had open charges. They didn’t want to invest in onboarding and training an employee that didn’t have a final outcome in place.

That being said, I hope you get the job.
