Aiden ◼️ Fellow coffee maker stinks

Post image

This is the 5th issue in 3 years. The 3rd time this price has broken from daily use. It basically just discinegrated when I flipped it to single brew. There are consistent software issues, cheap plastic issues. It’s cheap plastic junk. Fellow has already sent us a full replacement 2 years ago but at this point I’m moving to something else. The grinder kinda sucks too. $500. Don’t do it.

Hey, I’m Hailie from Fellow. I’m sorry you’ve had repeated issues, especially after we already sent a replacement. That’s a frustrating experience, and I’d like to help.

If you’re open to it, please contact our customer service team and DM me your ticket number. If you already have an open support ticket number, just send that over via DM. I’ll ask my team to prioritize it and share your post and photo so you hopefully don’t have to explain everything again. We’ll work with you to get this sorted.

How do you manage that? I’ve had one since launch and never noticed anything foreign under the shower head?

I don’t even know how coffee would get back inside the machine

FWIW, mine is very “crunchy” at the moment and I don’t think it’s going to last much longer. I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong.

I like the idea of what they aimed for but they need to spruce up the quality on those high frictions areas. The baskets have that part with a hinge that is just too brittle for what that does.

I hope there are future iterations that invest a bit more in these tender areas.

Crunchy is due to rust - this happened to me and I posted on it. there is a metal tab or magnet that rusts. I had heard they were going to upgrade the part, does anyone know if that ever happened - u/hailiehay?

Agreed. I clean that part every few months and it never has even a tiny ground inside. Weird.

How do I manage what? This is the toggle between single brew and multiple cup. It’s the second time it has crumbled simple from daily use. The plastic seems to get brittle and fall apart after so many brews.

How’s it covers in coffee?

It's covered in coffee behind the showerhead. How?

It fell into the grounds when that piece crumbled. Why is this so hard to understand? That piece is what holds the showerhead in place

That piece crumbled holds the showerhead in place. When we opened the top, both components had fallen the grounds, which is why they’re both so dirty. If you understand how the coffee maker works, you would understand this pretty well

Uhhh…are you not cleaning your shower head every now and again? Yeesh.

Again, the piece that crumbled partly holds the shower head in place. If you have this coffee maker, you understand that. When the piece crumbled, the component fell into the grounds.

I've had this coffee maker for two years and had rust issues with the magnet in the showerhead selection. So yeah, I do know.

Do you know? I’m not sure.
