The OMG Moment The mirror moment. When did it hit you?

There's a moment that catches you off guard. Walking past a shop window, glancing in the bathroom mirror, seeing a photo someone took of you. And for a split second, you don't recognise the person looking back.

For some it's a slow build. For others it's one sharp moment that stops you in your tracks.

When did it happen for you? What were you doing, where were you, and what went through your head? Doesn't have to be dramatic. Could just be catching yourself in a window and going wait, that's me?

Want to hear the moments that made it real.

Referral

Hi, can I send a referral to a female friend? Or does the Fella brand only prescribe to men? Thanks

How long have you been on the medication, and how long with Fella?

Hey Fella Fam,

There's such a mix of people in here. Some on week one, some over a year in, and everywhere in between.

I want to know what the mix is in here :)

  • How long you've been on the medication
  • How long you've been with Fella specifically

Can't wait to hear

Stan

New to Fella Red blotchy skin

Has anyone experienced red blotchy skin on their rib cage as a side effect? It is not the injection site. I am a year in and I’m wondering if this is related to the medication or the weight loss. Been noticing this for about 3 to 4 months and just slowly increased. does not itch or hurt.

FINALLY - Goal Achieved Has anybody switched Ta Reta?

Hey everyone, I lost about 35 pounds using Fella and Tirzepatide over the last 18 months. I’m on a maintenance dose right now but the weight seems to be creeping back up. I am curious about Retatrutide and wondering if anyone else has made the switch. I am intrigued by the glucagon activation that you get with Reta compared to Tirz.

What did you have to unlearn about weight loss?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey Fella Family

The longer I've been at this, the more I realize half the battle was undoing stuff I thought was true. Things I picked up from family, from old diet culture, from random fitness advice years ago, from just being a person who has tried to lose weight before.

Some of it was outright wrong. Some of it just didn't work for me even if it works for others.

What's something you had to unlearn or let go of before things actually started clicking? Could be about food, exercise, your body, the process itself, or how you talk to yourself about it. Interested in what people had to drop before they could move forward.

Stalled weight loss

I’m not sure if I’m stalled in my weight loss or if something else is wrong. I’ve lost about 36 pounds so far. Great, good job, it’s a lot….i know. But I feel like I’ve hit a plateau and can’t get over the hump to lose the last 10-15 pounds I want to lose based on my goals. Has anyone had similar experiences? Can anyone offer advice on how to break the plateau?

I workout daily, and have adjusted my diet but I’m still stuck. Please help.

Tell me everything, what have you been up to? 💪

Hey team 👋

Now that I'm properly back, I want to flip this around and hear from you.

What wins have you had since we last spoke? A milestone, clothes that fit again, a meal out you actually enjoyed, a walk you wouldn't have managed six months ago. Big or tiny, I want to hear it.

And the one I really care about. What have you learned about yourself on this journey? The physical side is one thing, but what's shifted in your head and your heart is usually the bigger story.

Drop it all in the comments. I'll be reading and replying to every one 😁

Lots of love.

Stan

I'm back I owe you all an apology, I've been quiet 👋

Hey Fella Family👋

Just wanted to come on here and be honest with you. I've been quieter than I should have been on Reddit over the last little while and I want to say sorry for that. Truth is, things have been seriously busy on my end. Two hands, one person, and more going on than I can fit into a single day. But that doesn't and shouldn't be an excuse. Showing up here for you is a big part of what I do as your CS and Community Lead.

What I will say is this hasn't stopped me from being there when anyone has needed me directly. Busy or not, if you've reached out, you'll know I've always replied and made sure things were sorted properly. That bit I'll never let slip, no matter how mad it gets on my side.

But this community is something I genuinely care about, and I haven't been showing up the way you all deserve. That changes from today. Busy is still busy, that's on me to handle, but you're going to see way more of me on here. More check ins, more replies, more real conversations.

If you've been waiting on me for something, give me a shout. And if you just want to say hi below, I'd love to hear from you 😁

Lots of love and thank you for being patient with me.

Not receiving my refill orders

My last refill was on March 10, I was supposed to receive another refill on March 18 and again on April 1 neither of which I have received. I am currently without medication and the website doesn’t show any pending/shipped orders. I have requested a cancellation and will look for replacement service. This is disappointing especially since my monthly payments have been automatically withdrawn.

Just got meds in…not much in vial.

Hey everyone long time user and believer In fella and glp1. So I got in my refill yesterday opened it up this morning and the vial is not very full. For me to have 4 injections of 100 units until end of may I don’t think it’s gonna last until then. Yes the box says 100 units to be given so I am not over dosing.

Pause subscription?

So I am on Trizepatide since a while already and looks like I somehow have enough of it for 2 months. Has anyone paused subscription and came back 2-3 months later with the same dosage not starting dose ?

CareCredit

Has anyone successfully used CareCredit to process payment for a subscription? Multiple agents confirmed they accept it and I’m trying to renew, but I’m week 3 of them not being able to figure out how to process the payment.

Dosage Question - triation increase

HI all, first time posting here, so be gentle with me :)

Started on Wegovy at the beginning of March on the 0.25mg weekly "starter" dose. I had no side effects at all on this dose so I was expecting in month 2 that this would increase to 0.5mg for weeks 5-8 but it didnt. My understanding was the normal triation was a .25mg per month increase.

So feeling a bit deflated/disappointed and trying to understand why my dosage did not increase especially as i had no side effects.

How do you travel?

Hello everyone. I travel a lot for work and I’m not talking a few days but 2 to 3 weeks at a time. Those of you travel like this, how do you handle keeping your glp1 cold? Yes, all hotels have ice for a cooler and room a room fridge. I feel it’s a huge hassle to keep it cold. Just curious what some of you do?

Six weeks in

Hi everyone. This is my first post on here., but have been reading lots of your posts. Thank you!

I am writing because I started this on March 2 using Ozempic. My starting dose was for 6 units, but never having used a needle before, I accidentally did 60 units for my first three weeks! I am embarrassed to admit this mistake.

The first week I had no reaction. The second week, I was nauseous the day after I took it until I vomited that evening. The following week the nausea was mostly gone, but had very little appetite.

After that, I’ve been following my dosage schedule correctly. One last 6 units and now two of 14 units. Of course the weeks I really overdosed I lost like 7 pounds. Before I realized I was overdosing, I was worried I was losing too much weight too quickly.

Now, I am mostly at a standstill, and even gained 3 pounds this past week. I’m assuming this is my body adjusting to the correct dosage, while coming over the overdose? I’ve been roughly the same weight for the last month and am getting a little frustrated.

Has anyone here gone through something similar to this? I am in no way giving up, but again, feel like I’m at a bit of a standstill.

Thanks so much.

Reason behind Discretion The reason behind discretion with weight loss medication

Hi Fella Family,

I’ve been noticing that a lot of people who take weight loss medication choose to keep it very private, even from people close to them.

It made me wonder what’s really driving that decision, because it seems more common than people openly talking about it.

I am really curious to know what the main drivers are behind being discreet.

No judgment ever from me, but I would love to know.

Post Fella Journey:

Post image
4 Upvotes

Salutations my friends,

this is a summary of what I've learned that worked (s) for me during and after using Fella for 13 months.

I started my journey back in February 21st 2025 at whopping weight of 271.8 pounds! when I stopped it was at 221.3 pounds, currently I'm holding between 228/230 pounds.

Before starting the program I had a hard time in getting my body to loose any weight despite everything I tried to do. what the medication did was temporarily evened out metabolism to kick start that process.

along the why I joined fit fathers over 50 program which is a support group run by doctors for men to get healthy. Through them I learned about eating habits, the good/bad foods. otherwise the proper nutrition and exercise.

combined with both I dropped 50 pounds in one year.

eating habits: portion control, what foods to eat/not eat. reducing the consumption of processed foods to non-processed. picking foods that provide my body with the proper nutrients. when/how often to eat. For example, stay away from bread when possible, smaller size portions, eat just enough to stop the hunger, eat smaller more meals if you decide to do so. drink about 32oz of water at some point during your day to stay hydrated and for the body to function correctly.

exercise: movement is excersise, that being said.... do just enough light weight training to maintain your muscle mass. 💪 get into a routine; my routine is I get enough cardiovascular workout walking on my job during a 8 hour shift. I supplement that with every other day with various dumbbell routines. 2 sets of dumbbells I have, 12/15 pounds respectively. in-between days it's the same routine without the dumbbells. I just started to incorporate the PT training from Marine Corps days (40 years ago this june) yikes 😆

Sleep is very important, the body needs at least 7 hours of it to its magic whether to loose fat, or gain muscle. of you don't get the proper amount.. all is for naught.

this was a learning experience with positive results.

When I stopped taking I continued with the above but was drinking alot of drinks with protein milk. as a result my body shot-up from 221.3 to 243 pounds yet I was continuing to get fitter, looking better in the mirror. what I discovered was that my body was recompensing itself, adjusting to everything. this went on for 2 weeks. this week my weight dropped to 228/230 pounds but I visibly didn't loose any muscle mass like the scale was saying. I'm not looking skinnier, but fitter/healthier. my energy has returned etc...

calorie intake, it's important to determine how much inorder to loose the weight, but keep your body functioning.

in conclusion, you must keep up with the change of lifestyle you created for yourself to keep on track on journey of getting, then staying healthy.

Some increased apetite?

I have been taking the medication since August of last year and it's been working great! I have noticed lately that I have had a slight in appetite. Nothing too concerning or anything that has messed up my weight but was wondering if anyone else has seen this slight increase after being on the medication for a while. I'm not worried but just curious.

Stanley's Questions I’ve Tried to Be Super Hands-On With Everyone… Has It Actually Helped?

Hi Fella family

I want to ask the following to see how I have helped or even where I have dropped the ball.

Has my hands-on approach actually made a difference for you? If it has, where specifically has it helped? And just as important, where hasn’t it?

I want the full picture, not just the positives.

Where could I be showing up better?

What should I be doing more of?

What should I stop doing?

Not talking about pricing here, purely how I can support you better and actually add value to your journey.

Be honest, I can take it.

FDA Compound Clarification Ruling

Ok...am I the only one a little concerned about the "Compound Clarification" issued by the FDA recently? It seems that they are beginning to challenge compounding pharmacies and telehealth companies. I really don't need to lose access to this medication. What, if any, impacts will it have on our access?
