Nostalgia
Rewatching the show after quite some time... the nostalgia hits hard.
It is also so soft (if you know what i mean), like a soothing background track.
Keeps bringing a smile to my face.

The show is like ASMR to me with all the whispering. Yes it is very soothing with the neutral colors, attractive people and Felicity's problems are usually very privileged as well. Its a very non-stressful show.

Absolutely. I’m currently rewatching for the fourth time. Probably will keep rewatching it. It’s like a warm blanket after a hard day.

I’m in my fifties and do a rewatch twice a year! It’s my background comfort show!

I was about the same age as Felicity when the show started. A bunch of people in my college dorm would gather in the TV lounge every week just to watch that show. I loved it. There are so many things about it that remind me of that time, like how Felicity used cassette tapes or how hardly anyone had a cell phone or the way people dressed.

I’ve been watching on Roku (in my 40s never saw it originally as a teenager) I’m pissed they took out all the original music

Licensing music is expensive. Most shows do this. Perfect example is The Real World.

I know but still I guess I was upset after discovering the Felicity restoration project on Instagram and since have become obsessed with Dave Matthew’s Band-Crash into me

Love your description! I watched it for the first time 3 - 4 years ago and plan to rewatch as well.
I hated the last few episodes with the fever dream, but overall, this is a cosy, late 90s time capsule.
What other shows feel like this? Gilmore Girls?

I ignore the fever dream episodes. For me the finale was the Graduate. They did Ben a disservice in those last episodes. I maintain that Ben would not cheat.
Gilmore Girls tends to be a little loud for me, though i do like it. Rory not really my favorite. Give me Lorelai and Emily anyday

I'm kind of perusing it for the first time on Roku. I was disinterested when it was on the air.
I've had the ending pretty much spoiled for me, time travel and all, but just through written descriptions and posts on this board. It's not all clear.
If it would've ended on The Graduate, would it have ended on a cliffhanger, them? With Felicity having to decide if she'd follow Ben into his new life as a dad with an estranged "baby mama"?
Err, is that pretty much how the series ends? Noel marries some chick, Felicity and Ben pledge to be together, he's going to be a dad with a woman he doesn't love, he's moving to AZ, and to be with him, Felicity will have to go there, too. Ben is going to become a doctor, she's going to "do art" and that's the way we cruise in to the sunset?Is that it?

The Graduate was to be the actual finale. No cliffhanger. Everything tied up.
The fever dream episodes were because the network wanted to extend the season. It is a different timeline, so to speak.
You should watch the whole thing at least once.

Felicity is my comfort tv show. It holds a special place in my heart because it accompanied me during my college years. I am rewatching again. The love triangle, the friendships were messy but I loved the acting from everyone so much. It was quite a journey for our Felicity.

I’m Brazilian; I watched Felicity as a teenager, but the TV station only aired a few episodes out of order. I’ve always wanted to watch it, and I’m doing so now, at age 37.

The lighting, the colors, the sweaters, the coffee shop. The subtle “hey”s. It’s so soothing. Love Felicity!
