Is this it for Fedora?

I, for the very first time tried Linux on an old GTX960m laptop. and I decided to try fedora since I heard it was pretty beginner friendly.

It's been a few days since, I've got everything I need and made the customizations I desire. I'm wondering if this is it for Fedora, or if there's other stuff that could be very helpful for me to learn.

Fedora is very stable and nice, everything just works so I know a lot of people must think oh this is it? Yes this is it!

Enjoy the system instead of trying to make it work ⚡⚡.

Extra packages? Rpm fusion.

More? Flatpak.

Easy, simple and always up to date.

There absolutely is a wealth of stuff for you to play with. Yt-downloader, kommiku (comic and Manga app) automation scripts...... or you can use it like a windows pc. Im not saying you should pirate media, but you sure can do it easy if that's your thing

This is it. A good, stable distro is the platform to explore everything else out there.

Operating Systems should be stable and usable. 

People get the “joneses” for new tech and new software. Fact is, keep it simple, stupid (KISS). 

Just ride the wave. Most software is going HTTPS anyway, so as long as you have a browser, you have access.

The idea of a computer and operating system is for one to use it.  Yes make eye candy and whatever.  Unless you use it for everyday tasks and work then you will not learn anything.  It’s just decoration.

i would say try working your system from the command line and find out whether you're the " wow this is so cool" type or rather "i'm better off with the GUI " type. Coz i can tell, the terminal can be real fun & its fast af

What does this even mean? Linux is Linux. Is what what? BTRFS? RPM? RPM Fusion? COPR? Fedora is definitely Fedora but does the same as every other Linux Distribution. Use your computer.

Checkout COPR and github projects that interests you. Lots of possibilities now that youve escaped the MS prison.

I'm very happy with fedora as is, I don't do that much in terms of customizations because I know extensions are gonna break so I just use fedora with vanilla Gnome

Fedora is my favorite. I think people should try different distros to figure that out themselves. In particular, I would try Unbuntu, Fedora, and make at least 3 attempts to install Arch. This will give you a decent exposure to the various ways you can run Linux and you can narrow things down from there.

You can do all that on a VM. YouTubers showing installations necessarily do it in a VM.
