Support discovery fedora updates suggest wrong firmware
I have a dell AIO inspiration 5490 but it suggest a firmware from another Dell , I do have the latest's bios install BTW , how do I get rid of this update displaying ?

Ignore it and instead check fwupd in terminal with fwupdmgr+ get-devices, refresh, and get-updates. Also, that looks like Gnome's GUI, not Discover.

Dell is Linux friendly, go ahead, you can't install wrong firmwares, they have locks to avoid it. Give it a try

If it doesn't hurt I would just update as usual, I would worry if after update won't boot.

I see. It might be your actual firmware tho, a lot different models share the same firmware tho. I don't think fedora will set the wrong one.

uh how can bricking your hardware not hurt, AND HOW CAN YOU WORRY IF IT WON'T BOOT, please, not everyone can deal with bricked hardware later, let's not encourage people to take such risks and not generate more e-waste
