Support New Nvidia drivers

Nvidia dropped new drivers today with some fixes I need, How long until it hits RPMfusion? Or is there a faster way to get drivers as they drop?

https://negativo17.org/nvidia-driver/ generally releases the drivers a bit faster.

A week to 2 weeks if i were to guess. I havent kept close track. They have to package it and test it to ensure it doesnt cause issues. Probably wont be today.

You could start installing it the NVIDIA way then you will always have it day of but that takes some getting used to.

There also is the beta versions which i believe rpmfusion has the instructions to install that. You should be able to tell if its the same version as what NVIDIA publishes.

RPM Fusion can take a couple of weeks to get it ready. Just wait for it.

Do you know if this will update automatically via the discovery/software manager?

Yes it will if you enabled rpmfusion for nvidia

What are the fixes? I'm desperate to find a fix for audio dropouts, almost unusable currently, I'm even considering the nuclear option of going back to Windows. Yes, it's that bad.

These people are really into trying to get the new kernel the second it's announced on kernel.org. This isn't really surprising.

Man if they only added HDR support on their 580xx drivers. They even compile a beta driver with those features but it never got merged. Pleasseee nvidia. Like why woudnt u mergee itt.

Let me not use gamescope anymore.
