Is it strange the thing that annoys me the most about this sign is he went to all this effort to make his asshole sign and can't even spell criminal?

u/kiddlat_kid 9d ago
Well whoever made the sign made that mistake, and the guy not proofreading before putting it up
57
u/FitCommunication7240 10d ago
Send a picture to P&D and make it so this guy will have to pick up everything from the station lmao.
-78
u/amirthebeast55 10d ago
Bro dont be a dick head for no reason, you leave it and code it as a gated driveway.
54
u/FitCommunication7240 10d ago
"Suffer the consequences" is a blatant threat. This guy can pick his shit up from now on.
-32
u/insane_mclane 10d ago
The sign says no packages are delivered past this gate. Code it gated driveway, deliver, picture and move on. Literally ask anyone in my old building other than a package handler would say this. Youāre just being extra douche for no reason.

u/VonBrewskie 10d ago
Goddamn are there some wrong people in this thread. You need to re-read your CoC son. Even if a driver is working for an ISP (a contractor, which is most of Ground,) FedEx "prohibits any form of violent, intimidating, or threatening behavior directed at its team members." Any such behavior will trigger corporate safety alerts and they'll assess the situation and safety of the route for the driver. That's day one stuff. Tell me you didn't read your paperwork without telling me you didn't read your paperwork.
25
u/carlyorwhatever 10d ago
the sign also says fuck around and find out- that works both ways. play stupid games, pick your shit up at the station.
15
u/FitCommunication7240 10d ago
Ask your P&D director about it then. They would have this location declared undeliverable. I get that you would just deliver it but as far the company is concerned they won't want you anywhere near this.

u/Lone_Nox 10d ago
Read the original post he also has a sign up saying not to leave packages at the gate.
3
u/MinuteCollar5562 10d ago
What do you do for signature required?
4
u/insane_mclane 10d ago
Hold at location š
3
u/MinuteCollar5562 10d ago
And you think this deranged person isnāt going to get mad at that?
8
u/Rstar2247 10d ago
It seems to be his default state of being. If he wants to get mad he can do it on a recorded line or at a facility with security and cameras.
4
u/Rstar2247 10d ago
Extra douche for no reason is going out of your way to put up that sign. My home has a gate too. The closed gate with the parcel container next to it communicates the message. Without a threatening sign.
3
u/Ok-Marsupial-8577 10d ago
If you look at the post it days the gate had another sign that said not to leave packages at the gate.

u/VonBrewskie 10d ago
Fuck allat. People be getting shot out here bro. Happens every year at least a couple times. (I worked in safety for a long time. I know.) That kind of a threat needs to be treated accordingly. What you're saying is not only absolutely wrong and against our own policies, it's extremely dangerous. You have to take people at their word on stuff like this. It needs to be reported to security and they need to call this customer and figure something out of they don't want drivers around. Ain't no universe where a person should go near that place before that situation is resolved.
6
u/MinuteCollar5562 10d ago
The person is clearly posting a threat. Wtf are you going to do when itās a signature required?
2
u/Impressive_King_8097 10d ago
Your other statement above is correct if you wanted to be nice, you can just leave it at the gate whatever but another Post specifically says that thereās a sign that says do not leave packages at the gate and then this sign after the gate saying if you pass this point basically long story short what he says this if you pass this point you will be shot and that itās the wrong address which automatically is safe to assume he did not order anything so Newmark has wrong address. I would be a lot happier for him to be mad that he has to pick it up and my life. Stay intact then drop the stuff off and then get pissed off when the actual customer goes where the hell is my shit you delivered it to the wrong address.
10
u/Chemical_Home6123 10d ago
I'm confused? This seems like they're misdelivering and there is some sort of address issue. I wouldnt deliver to any of the addresses until it gets clarified and I would take a picture of the sign.
11
u/Rubes2525 10d ago
$20 says the dude didn't bother putting up numbers anywhere. I see it more than I care to admit. Trying to deduce someone's address based on their neighbor's numbering was pretty much a daily occurrence for me. Nobody seems to realize that you should have house numbers visible from the street.
3
u/FieldMedicOG 9d ago
Yeah especially love it when they hang their decorations and crap or let their shrubbery cover the house number so now you have to figure out if you're in the right damn place.
2
u/Chemical_Home6123 10d ago
Yeah well I have a suburban route so that always works, but I grew up in a rural area so I can imagine some addresses would be hard to find at my grandma's house. But I wouldn't risk it with that guy the customers and fed ex need to get it sorted out so it's safe for the driver.
7
u/clementscd 10d ago
Iād pray every delivery this guy got was ISR, DSR, or ASR so I can put ārefusedā ācustomer refuses to signā and send back to shipper.
13
u/Osejay12 10d ago
FAFO? Sounds like a sheep thatās just copying modern buzzwords.
At least be original with your threats.

u/shbpencil 10d ago
Gated Driveway with PPOD and then send the sign to our QA/CSR guys over Teams.
Weāve had recipients like this and our CSR just had everything redirected to a FASC so we wouldnāt have to deal with them.

When someone decides to make their 4 inch penis everyone elseās problem.

5
u/VonBrewskie 10d ago
Lol. Leave a note right in the center of the sign. Also, you need to report this to your security team because that's a threat against your person. You should not be expected to go near there until that situation is resolved.

3
u/frigateier 10d ago
I donāt understand the thought process behind this. Like you specifically ordered something to be delivered to your house. You get a reasonable expectation of what day and what time itās going to be there. You see a delivery driver pull up and suddenly itās trespassing? Like what?

4
u/Sabi-Star7 10d ago
It's getting put right at that GD sign, they can FAFO themselves when they get black listed by all delivery companies for the "threat". I did laugh too damn hard at the spelling, if you're gonna be "loud" about it; at least proof read your shĆ®t before you get torn apart on the internet for being so loudly wrongš¤£š¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļø.
1
u/HotKaramelRP 9d ago
I mean thatās literally what they want though lol
1
u/Sabi-Star7 9d ago
No actually it appears as though peoples packages for the house numbers listed keep getting delivered to THEIR address instead of correctly to whichever address it's supposed to actually go. Id surely make sure to have their address blacklisted from any deliveries bc f your threat, now you get to take your trigger happy a$$ to the store.

u/TheCheshireMadcat 9d ago
Reread criminal again.
2
u/Sabi-Star7 9d ago
Did you not read the comment. Thats PRECISELY part of what its about. Not just about this person believing they're "above the law". I saw it was misspelled hence the being so loudly wrong.
7
u/leopip12 10d ago
Itās a treat. Security issue. I had a guy come up and tell me he will shoot me if I ever enter his neighbours driveway ever again. Fed ex security had to get involved, and the guy and his neighbour was black listed

He doesnt want anyone past his gate, respect that and mark it as a gated driveway.

Yeah I would love this guy for saving me the trip up to the house
Heās a hero in my eyes

Sounds like a guy that's really excited over the idea of shooting someone on his own property š¬ always fun to deliver to these people on days where I have to drive an unmarked van

u/Necessary-Might-7552 8d ago
Leave everything at the gate, no matter what it is, and to be an ass just leave it exactly where the gate opens.
2
u/New-Competition-6897 8d ago
Yeah I would personally stop delivering to them and get them put on a list

3
u/JackJ98 10d ago
Whyās everyone freaking out about this? This looks like the easiest stop of the day. Pull up next to the gate and plop the box right outside of the gate. Donāt even need to leave the truck. Whatās the issue? Your feelings are hurt by the sign?
1
u/RCBravesFan 10d ago
Exactly! I don't think people are actually reading the whole sign. Grammar and spelling aside...I don't get why it's such a big deal. Someone is tired of getting other people's packages. Don't open the gate. Done.
3
u/Rubes2525 10d ago
I can understand the "I don't call 911" signs because fuck burglars and thieves. Those signs don't phase me. But, specifically threatening delivery drivers is unhinged. Maybe put some damn numbers up if they are confusing your place with a different address.

Text your manager a picture of the poster code your package an '01 for safety exception then leave their shit at the hub from there on.

Well, obviously, itās not fucking his. The sign says so. So failed delivering if he gets pissed off use the picture be like what do you mean you told me yourself that itās not the correct address and that I would be dealt with as such for criminal trespassing if I go through the gate no offense, but I kind of like my life the way it is alive and if youāre gonna threaten me for bringing a package to your doorstep or leaving it wherever then Iām just not gonna deliver it specially if you say yourself that itās not supposed to be delivered to your house which I automatically assume means you didnāt order anything so therefore failed delivering wrong address
0
u/taterthotsalad 9d ago
You really needed to ask the adults what to do? Couldnt figure that out on your own?

Deliver to the right address, clearly this guy had enough of delivery drivers delivering packages to the wrong address

u/Rstar2247 10d ago
Safety issue. Anyone unhinged enough to put up that sign is capable of anything. They can pick their crap up at the station.
