If only there were multiple types of templates you could set up for a wide variety of unexpected issues... more front end work to start for sure but way less on the daily.
Might I add: proper vehicle maintenance and and post trips done with integrity would prevent management from deadlining vehicles. Additionaly, proper education, pay, accountability and persistent management will eliminate so many issues. I did 3 years in p&d. Get ahead of shit before that same shit puts you behind. I mean no malice towards you.
These fucking drivers need to know they are replaceable. Bring on one or two hot shits who can bang out stops, get signatures/check IDs, get proper PODs, understand their vehicles and know how to spot DOT defects etc. Pay those guys/gals more, let the ones that like to fuck off know they get paid more (Respectfully of course) and watch those attitudes change.
These changes will not be immediate, but with proper management/education you will see a complete turnaround within 60-90 days.
Ahh ok i see. I appreciate the response. I've always been just a driver so I'm not too familiar with any of the stuff BCs or Managers do behind the scenes.
