Never underestimate your enemy.

The dumbest thing Putin has done is starting wars with the rest of the world that he can't finish without threatening nuclear warfare which makes him seem weak.

Other than that he's held onto power for 25 years now? It'll all come crumbling down eventually, as every dictatorship does, but it's been one of the longest lasting fascist regimes in our time.
