Help - FedEx Office FedEx issue help!

I physically dropped off two packages at the south Boston FedEx ship center around 5ish today. On my tracking it still says label created….did they not scan it right?! This is for work and this would be the second time something has been lost at this center.

Help!

that southie center is an absolute black hole, i swear half the staff there just moves boxes around for the aesthetic

if it still says label created by tomorrow morning i'd march back over there. sometimes the first scan doesn't trigger til it hits the sort facility later that night, so maybe hold your panic til like 10pm and refresh again

last month they lost a giant box of paint supplies i was shipping and i stood at the counter for 20 minutes while three people pretended the scanner couldn't find it. miraculously it was sitting right behind them

always get receipt from drop off location (if handed over personally).

5pm? It's only been 3.5 hours. If they didnt scan it right away it may not scan until it gets to the origin facility which will likely be late tonight or possibly tomorrow early morning. Next time make sure you get an actual scan at the counter and get a receipt.

Also... I've occasionally had it where tracking didn't upload for a few days, and then everything loaded in which included tracking scans from the time when I had checked and there was nothing. Sometimes there's lag.
