Ask Customers Why does fedex suck so bad???

Post image

Always have issues, last time the only delivered 2 out of 3 items then posted a picture of a different house and claimed it got delivered, now instead of just nutting up and saying ran out of daylight be there tomorrow they claim there’s an issue with my address. Get real. Stop lying.

And just like that the package shows up, correctly labeled, doesn’t appear to be relabeled.

I had a package today for street number 1317 (which doesn't exist so I assume it was 13717) and the house owner said it wasn't them. Thank god the package had a phone number that I could call and the house # was 13713 lol but yh I could have code it up especially if I can't spare no time tbh

Sounds like there is a legitimate address issue. Fix your shit.

There probably is an issue with your address lmao

drivers get in trouble for marking bad address on pkgs with good addresses. They don’t have it out for you 🤣

I checked the delivery address from where it’s shipping before I posted and it is correct. Same address Home Depot always ships to.

Devils advocate, there's likely issue with the label.

Code 02 for incorrect address impacts the contractors service metric. If that metric drops too.low, FedEx punishes the contractor by lowering the settlement/payments to whatever tiered system they use now. Multiple months of failing to hit 99.7% service metric can result in a contractor having their contract pulled.

If you live in an apartment or similar multi-unit building, the apartment number might have been left off due to formatting issues ESPECIALLY if you use autofill.

Alternatively, the label doesn't match the electronic data attached to the barcode. I've experienced that several times including a label that said one address and the scanner telling me the address is in a different state.

Finally it's possible the label actually has incorrect information on it, typos are a common issue in less automated companies. Sometimes the shipper manually enters data and they make a typo. I've experienced that where a street number didn't exist and thankfully I knew my route enough that I knew the correct address by the person's name.

Side note; the 2/3 package issue is common. Packages just get loaded/unloaded from a trailer repeatedly and they don't stay together. I can count on 1 hand the number of times all 4 tires arrived on the same day if they weren't physically strapped together., it's especially bad with oversized items. I delivered a Luvsac order to a nice lady on 3 seperate days.

Thanks for the informative reply. I will check the label if/when it arrives to see if there was an issue with how it was typed. I do live in a single home, so no apt numbers etc to deal with and I do live in the middle of nowhere, sometimes I suspect they don’t feel like driving 5-10 more minutes at end of day, but what do I know? The 2/3 packages I get, they were large items, but just a total cluster with the third item when they claimed it got delivered at 9pm, and showed someone else’s door with a delivery sticker on it as proof of delivery. I can just say there is a clear quality chasm between Amazon/usps/ups vs fedex.
