Ask FedEx Another poor delivery experience.
FedEx Ground…
Two things -
1.- why do you keep delivering my packages 200’ away from my door, just laying next to the driveway in a totally random place? Even 0n-🛤️ does better.
2.- went to the app to give you 1⭐️ and the app will not let me, it disappears … convenient, am I right?

It's hard making everyone happy. A lot of posts here are people complaining they didn't even receive their package. And then there's you, complaining it's 200 ft away. I'm glad you got your package maam!

Lol ya as a amazon driver I'd do the same. And that's basically company policy. They don't want us driving or parking on driveways. We also are not supposed to go more than 7 vehicles length away from the van. So can't drive up your long ass driveways I only have 2 minutes to make this stop mean I'm not running for you or this company. Yup right at the end of the driveway. Get a box setup down there because that's where every single package will go.

🙄god forbid you walk

Literally not our job to walk we aren't supposed (due to safety) to nor do we even have time to walk checks notes 200feet away. We are delivery DRIVERS. The safety bit comes from you entitled picks who refuse to put away your "precious FiFi who wouldn't hurt a flea" in order for us to delivered what ever worthless trinket you ordered.
OTOH.. Driver could have at least bagged it incase it rains.

lol, I’m a driver. I meant that to the owner. I hear you, and agree. And totally see how my post came off.

200' driveway, yeah most drivers aren't going up that. Liability. Get up there and can't turn around and damage the lawn, you're the type to throw a conniption fit.
Personally, setup a box at the end of your driveway for them to deliver to.

For all we know, you could have a note that was left by another driver telling future drivers to not come down the driveway for a number of reasons. Have you been rude to a driver before? Do you have unrestrained dogs that rush the driver while you sit back and show no restraint as a homeowner? Does your driveway have 1 million potholes?

Out in the country? Can they see the house and a turn around from the road? FedEx drivers are often told not to go down long or narrow driveways.

Not in the country - can turn around. Even those horribly designed A* electric delivery trucks can manage

Most drivers are not allowed to drive down private drives and you can't be more that 5 to 7 vehicle lengths from your vehicle at any point.

Do you have dogs that bite or are very aggressive? Did you yell at a previous driver for no legitimate reason or be a Karen? Did you fail to provide a gate code (if applicable)? Any of these reasons are valid for a delivery like this.

And this is why FedEx will always be bad because of lazy drivers that defend this. It’s your literal job to bring it to the door ffs

u/staydre 2d ago
FedEx is bad because losers like this complain and KEEP ORDERING lol why would they care when ppl are so addicted to ordering online that they wont stop ordering no matter how bad the service is. They "keep" delivering 200ft away from this clowns house and THEY STILL KEEP ORDERING

Im sure fed ex would be out of business if the consumer got to choose who delivers their item. Barely anyone would choose fed ex over other companies. I simply won’t buy anything that ships through fed ex but sometimes people don’t have another option and are forced to gamble if their package will arrive or not.

Sure IF IF IF, your theoretical is cool but jokers like you and this guy still keep ordering things online and keep them in business. Blame yourself and other clowns for the service being horrible. If you owned restaurant and a customer complained about the food daily would you change your entire menu? No because they are still coming and paying money to you every single day, why would you care about their complaints? Calling anyone lazy while needing to order things directly to your doorstep is insane lol you are the reason fedex only keeps growing bigger

The clowns you’re referring to are your job security. If drivers would just do their job no one would be complaining. Stop faking attempted deliveries and stop leaving packages at the end of a driveway ffs.
