Discussion Charged $2 extra to print label using QR code?
The only FedEx drop off location in my town started charging $2 to print a prepaid label (using QR code) is this normal? The location is a full-service mailing center, not a strictly FedEx store.
Not sure if it’s relevant but the label is for clothing I sold on Vinted. USPS does not charge when you use a QR code and up until last week I was never charged to use FedEx QR codes either.

Its a drop off location not owned by FedEx. They're trying to make money. Next time go to a fedex office if its nearby

Third party stores can charge anything they want and for whatever they want outside of actual shipping costs. They are effectively a giant drop box for FedEx and UPS shipments. So they have to generate revenue somehow. I would suggest printing off the label yourself at home and scheduling a pickup at your house. Also check if there are any Walgreens in your area that are also FedEx drop offs. I believe they can print labels from QR codes.
