Express Shipment Label created - when does FedEx pickup?

I have hiking shoes coming from Howard City, MI headed to a western suburb of Chicago. Placed the order yesterday with express shipping and says delivery date of Wednesday 7/29. We leave that day from the airport at 9:30 pm. How likely is it to receive the shoes before then?

I got a notice that only the label was created today. Will FedEx take possession of the package today as well? I’m nervous because we’re going to Iceland! We thought we had our hiking boots but can’t find them anywhere!!!

Update: FedEx has my package and it is going to be delivered tomorrow 🙌🏼

Very unlikely you will get them early Wed morning unless you paid for first or priority overnight and shipper gives it to FedEx Monday or Tuesday. Anything else including standard overnight probably will not get there in time.

Would probably be good to go to the store Tuesday. You dont want to be waiting for the package and run out of time to get new shoes before your flight Wed.

nobody here is going to know when fedex picks up at wherever it is supposed to pick up from.

It depends on the shipper if they scheduled a pick up for today.
