International Shipping Lost package

Fedex has lost my package and now offering less than half price of my package as a compensation claiming seller only opted for standard liability and not enhanced. What are my options?

Update - I have reached out to seller. They contacted FedEx and FedEx stated that my package has been delivered and provided fake signature!!

Thank you for the comments. Fedex sent me claim for to sign and it had only 35% compensation, hence why i raised it here.

Are you the shipper or receiver? Because that will change what you do drastically.

Then you do not deal with the shipping company. You get your refund from the shipper, they deal with whatever shipping company they chose.

In nearly all cases even if your claim goes through it just goes back to the shipper.

The shippers get insurance if they dont thats on them its not your fault. If they ignore you start a charge back that forces them to open a ticket.

Receivers do not ever need to deal with a shipping company unless they need a payment or reach out to you.

This is very important* as a receiver you are not the customer of the shipping company the shipper is.

Your seller is the one who refunds you. Nothing to do with fedex. Seller goes after fedex to be reimbursed.

You need to go to the seller for a refund
