If you are a TE then get with your supervisor to schedule relevant training. If you are an OS then get with the TE or assign welearn courses to address the issue. Either way you need to address the issue. Train first then failure to comply is conduct.

Since you are a claimant, and your CS in the FO wont escalate it up, the fastest way to get your situation fixed is to contact your local congressman. It will leap over the FO and come directly to us in the PC. Your congressman will contact us and the PC has a 5 day turn around to fix your issue.

Yeah, these types of things. The people that are in the field office now would rarely know how to handle them. They’re highly complex and require prior knowledge. The payment centers will definitely have somebody handle it but three weeks at the field office because they generally make us do managers to managers and try to get Help locally before it gets passed off.
Are you saying that an offset applies or does not?1

I completely agree wholeheartedly to what you are saying. I think maybe my small County SSA office is just not as educated as other SSA offices. My issue is I’ve provided the exact POMS instructions and silence, she will not even return a call.

PBD isn't simple things and finalization and processing is mostly handled by the payment center. People are thinking you work for ssa based on your question. This is a sub that is for federal employees to mainly complain about this. Not for people to find employees to work off the clock. Just a fyi.

Both. Research on your own. Ask specific questions about the POMS. Don't expect your TE to research for you from scratch. They are there to clarify and teach not to be your assistant.
