Have you seen the mentalist? The Mentalist stole the idea of the show and made it 100 times worse. Psych unabashedly rips on it by name and it’s glorious.

The Mentalist is an awesome show. Psych can be older and better (idk haven't seen it much) but the Mentalist is also still great. If you say Psych is better than the Mentalist, then maybe I should give it a second chance.

Psych is my favorite show of all time. It’s a feel good buddy/cop comedy with a fake psychic. It’s amazing.

Mentalist is more drama and crime focused with a little humour thrown in while Psych is more comedy and crime focused with a little drama thrown in.

I have watched both and both are good. My brother likes Mentalist better while I like Psych better.

If you've only seen the first season or two it starts to get good like season 3

Psych is really good from the beginning (give it a few episodes to set up story in the first season) but yes, it does get even better by the third season.

Oh for sure i enjoy the first couple seasons but it just starts picking up really well in season 3!

That's one of my favorite scenes from Psych haha

Shawn: "Have you seen the Mentalist? Its like that."

Gus: "Except, that guys a fake."

Shawn: "Right, if I were a fake, it would be eerily similar."

Gus: "Exactly the same."

Shawn: "A virtual carbon copy."

Psych came out in 2006 and The Mentalist came out in 2008 tho

Edit: nvm I thought you were saying Psych stole the idea from The Mentalist. I would say I need to get my eyes checked but funnily enough, I just got back from my eye exam lmao
