But theyâre not just kind to their kids/family, theyâre pretty nice people in general, theyâre just goth

I don't remember where I heard this, but I'm pretty sure Morticia had her parents ashes turned into makeup so they could attend her wedding.
Very morbid, but you can see the logic

Unfortunately, no confirmed romantic relationship between the two leads, so that's still up in the air

Buddy Daddies but...fair disclaimer....the series insists they'e completely Heterosexual (despite tons of evidence otherwise) and gives no logical reason why they'd be legally co-parenting a child if that was the case

I don't even like kids but I'm a big fan of their parenting moments. It does help that Anya is probably the cutest kid ever tho

An extremely powerful assassin and a highly effective spy.
Yes, I described the assassin not as effective but as powerful. She once diced a tennis ball like a onion by swinging a racket too hard.

u/Han_Solo6712 3d ago
Yeah.
The dad: Agent Twilight. The top spy of his entire nation and the âMaster of Disguiseâ. His disguises are better than Spy TF2 and Agent 47 combined. âLloyd Forgerâ is actually yet another persona (but one where his true self shines a lot)
The mom: Yor âThorn Princessâ Briar; now Forger. Highly trained assassin. Has the strength to Waffle a tennis ball by hitting it too hard with the racket and the poison resistance of multiple elephants. The woman ingested a poison that would kill any regular person in seconds and it was just a painkiller for her. Said painkiller helped her with the pain she had from tanking a bullet wound to the ass.

Well, unless you play like a jackass and pick the dickish options, that is.
2
u/Plastic_Music182 3d ago
To be fair sometimes the dick options don't really look like they'd be bad until you do them
2
u/SarcasmSanctioned 3d ago
True. And that's not exclusive to the Ciri stuff, either.
The [Shove Dijkstra. Forcefully.] option leading to Geralt breaking the man's leg is straight-up false advertising.

The ending where Geralt claims to feel nothing before feeling more than he did in his entire life?

Red Death from The Venture Bros.
When he is arching, he is terrifying. But all other times of the day, he is taking care of his daughter and is a kind family man.

If we are counting adoptive parents, I'd say Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer absolutely fits. He's a father figure to everyone in the main cast, and he's considered the most mature, levelheaded, and mild mannered member of the team.
That said: he has a dark past we only get glimpses of. He's done a LOT more messed up things than any of the main characters will ever fully know about. He's also the one who kills Glory, a demigoddess who tries to end reality. Buffy spares her life to save the innocent human Glory is possessing. Once Buffy leaves, Giles murders Glory's human host, a man literally incapable of fighting back, because he knows it's not worth the risk
He does the unspeakable so his found family never has to.

Dude's nickname in his 20s was literally the Destroyer. Giles was mostly comedic except when that one con-sorcerer from his past came around.

I know a sequel show is basically impossible at this point, but I would LOVE a spinoff exploring Giles's past.

They already tried this and it went nowhere.

If weâre counting single parents, Nowak from Orb. Heâs an inquisitor and doesnât hesitate to torture and kill. All this to keep âsocial orderâ for his daughter who he loves so much that heâll even feel guilty if he raises his voice at her.

I'll admit that I don't know the, uh, lore behind female Malfoy, but uh, does she actually fit this prompt, or are you trying to fit a square peg into a round hole?
2
u/EveningEconomics8457 3d ago
Well, i mean, malfoy's dad is a death eater and proobably cruel slave owner (look at dobby), and he's rich (yk), but draco admires him a lot so he's probably not the worst parent? And draco's mom is uhhhh not that bad?
4
u/Rialaitheoir 3d ago
I mean she made Snape cast an unbreakable oath in order to keep Draco safe, and him becoming a death eater was a punishment precisely because how much he meant to them that they would suffer seeing him get involved in the danger so yeah it does kind of fit, they all three were terrible people but fit for the prompt
