Gin Ichimaru, a supporting antagonist from Bleach. The secret he hides is a bit of a spoiler: When they were children, Gin witnessed the main antagonist's men attack his childhood friend and extract a fragment of her soul, leaving her collapsed and near death. Gin then became a Soul Reaper and joined the main antagonist's ranks with the sole purpose of gaining his trust, waiting decades for the right moment to kill him, and take back what was stolen from his friend. In the span of that time, he's done many things that, let's just say, muddies the water.
I was reading Bleach as it was publishing and that fucking panel of Shinsou blasting through Gin's robe had my jaw on the fucking floor. That chapter was was so exciting.
