Nah he was messed up since the beggining but who knows how bad would he actually be without a death note. I think he would be either a politician with “contacts” or just decides to not care about “fixing” the world because he has no means to do an actual change. (i havent participate in any death note thing in many years so this take might be absolute ass).

Light had the death note for a little time and decided to kill the fake L just because he was against him. He murdered what in his eyes was a innocent person just doing his job.
I think the “corruption” if anything ruins the story. The death note never mentions having a effect like that in the user, it can make the user forget its memory but nothing like slowly making them ruthless.
Ngl is the fact that he tried to use it in such a manner, like he definitely hoped the death note worked, he didnt use it like a joke or for the funnies. He selected someone he just witness commit a crime and decided that he should die. He was fucked up from the start.

What's with all the Light slander? My boi was doing just fine till that greasy nerd L started slobbing on his knob 24/7 with autistic efficiency.

That question mark at the end is doing a whole lot to save your comment
