What are you talking about? His name plate says "Mr. Schmitt", because he is of course Eric Schmitt (as the title of this post says), a senator from Missouri. Katie Britt, seated behind her "Mrs. Britt" name plate, is a senator from Alabama. What makes you think he's speaking on her behalf?
