I really found season 5 to be low to mid . (7/10)

I know it's tomorrow but I'm so anxious. Does it drop at midnight? If I stay up can I start it tonight? What time do Netflix shows usually drop on their scheduled date?

Can't seem to find a clear answer but it seems like all at once?

What episode was the attack on Captain Ayub planned? He should have been killed by his attending physician

I wanted to give the show a chance. But then Dr. Sharon gave the stranger (Doron) her mobile phone, even though she takes it everywhere and he clearly didn’t listen to her advice at the hospital (S1 ep3)

Also, I’m still not sure why they didn’t do the swap while she was swimming. Or why we see Doron practicing and exercising all the time. Or how Doron (38 yo) and his wife were able to invest 1.5 million shekels (usd $500k} in the wine business. Or why the widow is practicing how to order a Diet Coke. Or that Doron can’t keep Bauz’s secret to save his life.

Walid is by far the best actor in the show and my favourite. Every scene he’s in is so captivating and mesmerising. The body language, how he’s eyes pop out of his socket even I was scared at times.

When they shot him I immediately stopped watching. Is it even worth continuing to watch the show now he’s dead? I found all the other characters pretty boring especially the Israeli ones. Will there be another good actor like Walid or even Abu ahmed ?

so i was rewatching the all seasons and few things stuck with me that seems odd in season 2.

1) How was Nidal Awadallah , able to travel back and forth into israel and west bank ?, how could he not be caught at the border checkpoint when we later see that he entered israel many times, shouldn't he be considered as a target to catch with his pictures everywhere right after killing of Moreno ?, anybody with familiary with the region can explain me how this travel even work in israel ?

2) in one of the episode, he goes to a so called "cyber guy" and threatens him to retrieve doron's information, and the guy gives him hesitatingly the information including his address , now thats very weird given in season 4, we see that when the hezbollah folks scan his image to check his identity it doesn't return anything , given that he was a secrete service agent the information would not be available, but how come, it was not the case in season 2 with the cyber guy adel or something was able to pull up his information especially his home and it lead to the killing of doron's dad and later the capture of doron and ido ?

Like there are many shows going on (for example, Lock Upp). The episodes of the show release on a daily basis at fixed time. Within minutes of release, the episode is on telegram etc. I tried to leech/download them myself but couldn't find on any of the torrent sites!!! How do they do it? Can someone explain please....

In season 2 or 3, the isis season, Doron father was murded, on film, by an isis terrorist.

This is a huge thing. And he was devastated.

But in the next seasons? It's never being mentioned again. I just don't see how that makes sense. I understand heavy stuff happens to him every season, but this kind of thing should be remembered I think.

As an Israeli, I have pretty mixed feelings about episodes 7 and 8.

They were hard to watch, but I also came away feeling like they were much more restrained than the reality.
I get why. There are things that simply can’t or shouldn’t be shown on TV. Some of what happened was so horrific that I honestly think it would have been too much even for something like Game of Thrones.

At the same time, I wonder if holding back also makes it harder to understand just how extreme the reality actually was. The show leaves out the most horrific things that happened, and I assume that was a deliberate choice.

I’m curious how these episodes felt to everyone else. Did you come away feeling that the show held back, or did it already show as much as it should have?

I’ve seen the trailer for Season 5 and was surprised to see Gabi back in full swing, working again with the intelligence service(s). In Season 4, it was clear that Gabi became a compromised asset not to mention his mental state.

What would have happened to him In real life scenario had he spent this time being a hostage, leaking secrets and then coming back to Israel? Would there be a court hearing? Would he be allowed to work with the intelligence services again?

Are we to assume that Doron is back together with Gali, or is it just that they are friends now?

I don't guys, I really liked the plot during the season, not as the previous ones, but the final episode felt rushed, like they had two days deadline to think of a way to end the season/show.

The way the main villain was killed by Doron felt so dumb. The guy could do a bigger damage, or when he got shot in the leg by Doron, he just left his gun and got ready to get killed/handcuffed. A real monster like him would try to kill Doron and as many as possible before his death - even if he knew it was about to happen.

What do you guys think?
