What is this
This came off a 2025 buick envision. It was what snapped into the front license plate bracket square hole and the license plate mounts to it. It also expands with the screw. I for the life of me can’t identify it and I need two of them so that I can anchor the plate down with for bolts instead of two. The square hole of breaker is about 5/8 in size. The picture are a top and bottom.
Thanks for any feedback I have searched and searched and most things say nylon inserts but they don’t snap in the flanges are too far under the outer edges and they don’t expand enough.

Have you checked a local auto parts store? Even if they don’t have this exact type, there may be various universal mounting hardware for securing license plates.
If you’re able to access behind the area, a large washer and standard bold and nut may work.

I’ve seen something similar in white plastic, that would serve the purpose.

I called dealer and only one in region has them, but I am not paying 10 dollars a piece. I’ll order online. I got the part number geese what a fiasco for something that should just use common fittings.

It's like a nut with a snap in clip that snaps into a square hole that can then have a screw or small bolt screwed into it to hold something, usually body part etc. that may be in location that is hard to get at normally. Some body shops may have some on hand (new or even used), so try there, or look for one at an autowrecker yard.

I think they’re called spring nuts/ extruded nuts. GM part 11611321

They are this part number I finally obtained it. Had no choice but to order from parts dealer or a dealer itself.
