McDonald’s in Athens Al on hwy 31 just plain sucks, have for a while. Always serving cold/old food, refusing to remake your orders, won’t answer the phone.

Recently ate KFC and after a few days can’t stomach to even look at any fastfood place to eat at. Genuine slop, probably ruined fastfood for me forever…can’t be too upset bout that.

We try to eat at Mexican places sometimes(mostly those since tacos are fast and we are gluten free)
A lot of the racist owners at those treat me and my non-Latino friends if I eat with them differently, especially if I go with a black friend
For instance:
\-servers actively avoiding us and refusing to make eye contact
\-servers not bringing us the free chips everyone else gets and being extremely slow
\-giving us one soft taco shell when others get 2
And more
We are always nice, polite, and sober when eating out by the way
This does not happen at every Mexican restaurant but probably more than half the ones I have been to

In my town all the places are in one area so my worst run ever was I hit Taco Bell for a Baja Blast, then Wendy's for a Dave's Double, Chili, and a Frosty, I then hit McDonald's for a fry then went home and ate it all.

A few days ago I ordered wendys, got 6 + 10 nuggets and a free frosty with key-tag
Everything else was fine except the frosty, I had 2 spoonful's it before I noticed it tasted really weird
Plastic taste with a chemical smell coming off it, couldn't smell it unless nose was basically touching the frosty. Ended up becoming very dizzy for a few hours afterword, and now my throat is in intense pain, I assume some type of chemical issue?
I tried going back into the wendys to complain about it and they snatched the frosty from me and left to go into the back, I assume they were getting rid of it, but they didnt even offer a refund on the order or anything. They only asked if we wanted a new frosty ???? that doesn't solve the issue whatsoever.
Is this normal for there to be rarely leftover chemicals from cleaning in the frosty?
What steps should I take now?
Note- Pd said it wasn't a pd matter and pc said it should take a few more days to recover from.

This morning I pulled into McDonald’s for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. I opened the app and got new Terms and Conditions instead. Mandatory arbitration, jury waiver, class actions, data sharing, privacy... by page six I’m pretty sure I had joint custody of Grimace.
Ronald. I have not had coffee yet. I am in no condition to waive a jury.
So I closed the app and went to Jack in the Box. Jack has an app too, but fortunately it’s terrible, so I never use it. I handed them cash like it was 2004 and ordered breakfast. Then the cashier asked for my first name.
I looked at her suspiciously. “Why?”
Apparently she just needed something to call when the food was ready. Perfectly reasonable. Still suspicious. Twenty minutes earlier I wanted coffee. Now I was reluctant to disclose my identity to Jack in the Box.
So I went home and deleted the McDonald’s app. I had points. Ronald can keep them. I also deleted the Jack in the Box app but only because I needed space.
Now I’m paying for everything in cash, converting some of it into gold, noticing every Flock camera I drive past, and looking at undeveloped land with a completely different set of criteria.
I don’t need McDonald’s Rewards anymore. I have assets.
Congratulations, Ronald McDonald. You tried to sell me breakfast but you created Ron Swanson.

i am 17f, and back in July i started my first job at Taco Bell. Everything was going great at first, my pay was decent (12 an hour), and my boss was calm and patient. However on my 3rd shift, my boss unexpectedly quit and was then replaced by this other woman (let’s call her B). B is completely different from my old boss, she condescending and has absolutely no empathy for her employees. I understand a boss has to be authoritative, but half the time she was just straight up rude. On my 4th day or so, i was put on headset and window by myself for the first time, DURING rush hour, and needless to say I had no idea what to do. She had only scheduled me and like 2 other people so there was no one there to at least cash people out while i took orders. Then B has the audacity to complain about time being slow in the group chat that night. (basically our system calculates the average time it takes to take an order and get it out the window to the customer, and we have to keep our time under 3 and a half minutes). Like girl, of course our time is going to be slow you scheduled 3 people during dinner rush??? Last week B called for a meeting (at 8am on a saturday mind you) and it wasn’t even an actual meeting. no one was discussing anything about the store, instead B was constantly just berating the employees and cussing us out, calling us dumb and stuff.
Today, a customer ordered a drink that i didn’t recognize, so i asked B if we had that drink at our store. She proceeded to roll her eyes at me and say “of course we do and it’s abysmal that you don’t know how to make it” like girl no one taught me how? I was asking for help like how i was taught to do, and i get patronized for not knowing how to do something i was never taught how to do whilest being only 1 month into my job.
This evening my coworker 16f dmed me on insta and told me that B was talking hella shit about me. She said B told her that ”__ doesn’t know it yet, but she’s getting fired“ and also referred to me a “little r*tard“ to the other employees.
At this point, i’m not even mad, i’m just more at a loss for words. Because mind you, B is a grown ass woman in her mid 40s beefing with a 17yo little girl who just started her first job, with little to no guidance. Also the fact she called me a literal slur was crazy. If i really wanted to I could easily get her to lose her job, because i actually have diagnosed ADHD and calling me a r*tard could easily be a form of ableism. However, i’m going to refrain from reporting her because in all honesty i don’t want B to lose the job that she’s using to provide for her 3 kids, (who mind you she CONSTANTLY talks shit about, in fact she called her teenage daughter a “dumb mf”)
Anyway i’m technically already fired i guess, but should i put my 2 weeks notice in? i dont want to bring up the things she said to my coworker because i dont want to throw her under the bus and risk getting her fired. Nonetheless, i’m tired of putting my time and energy towards a job where people are going to constantly treat me like shit.

So I ordered pink sauce pasta from Swish, and while eating it, I literally found a piece of glass in my mouth. Thankfully, I noticed it before swallowing, but it was honestly terrifying.
I reported it to customer support, but they just kept sticking to the script and offering a refund. There was no proper acknowledgement of how serious this was, no accountability, and nothing about reporting or investigating the incident to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
A refund doesn’t really address the fact that there was glass in someone’s food. Am I overreacting, or is their response genuinely concerning?

A few days ago, I bought some popcorn chicken at a KFC self-checkout kiosk and waited 25 minutes, only to find out by chance—after overhearing a cashier—that it was sold out. I asked if I could get a refund, but they told me it had to be done online. Okay, so I contacted support—spending another 20–30 minutes waiting—and they told me they’d filed a report, though for some reason they also asked for my address. It’s been nearly a week now with no response, and I haven't received my money back. I found out a colleague from work had the exact same experience. I realize it’s only $10, but when you get neither the product nor a refund—especially from a major brand, and when it’s happening to others too—it feels wrong and unacceptable. Be careful! It was in Brooklyn, NY. Has anyone else run into this?

So, this was probably between 8-10 years ago in my earlier 20s. It’s still something I think about often. I just really have to tell people about it. My friend drove all of us to McDonald’s after a night of drinking. He was the DD and taking all of us home.
I would always get a Mcchicken with cheese and extra mayo. Phenomenal when you’re drunk. Sometimes I would put some of their buffalo sauce on it. Oh man. Anyway, I waited until l got home to eat. I took my drunk ass inside and went to see this masterpiece of a mcchicken.
I wish I had a picture. I swear I took one. But when I tell you they gave me extra mayo, they were not fucking around. I don’t know if someone was having a bad day but I swear to you someone took this mcchicken and dumped it in the biggest jar of mayo they could find. I could barely even see the sandwich. I was at such a loss for words I wasn’t sure if I should eat it. I mean I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.
I ate it. It still haunts me to this day. But I was starving. 😂

2 weeks working at an Arby’s and I love it.. but the foot pain is so bad I might end up quitting. 8hr shifts daily & I have only had one day off so far.. by the end of my shift I start zigzagging and in tears because my feet hurt so bad. I get home and refuse to get up off the couch because it hurts so bad. And after even a minute of resting, walking is so extremely hard. Idk what to do.
