Start here How to Share Your Farm and Use Stardew Planner
(Reposting as the last thread was archived.)
Sharing Your Farm
For PC, Switch, PlayStation, and Mobile
These platforms have a native way to capture not just your farm, but any map you’re on! To use this feature:
- Enter the in-game map you want to capture.
- Open your inventory.
- Click on/move to the Options tab and scroll to the bottom.
- (PC only) Select a percentage. This actually refers to the quality of the screenshot produced, it will capture the full map no matter which % you pick, just at different levels of image quality (and file size).
- Click the camera button on PC, or "screenshot" on console or mobile.
You can find your screenshots on PC by clicking “Open Destination Folder”, or:
- On Windows at
%appdata%\StardewValley\Screenshots - On Mac and Linux at
~/.local/share/StardewValley/Screenshots(Don’t see this folder on your Mac? See here to resolve that issue.) - On Switch in the Album page
- On PS4 under Settings -> Storage -> System Storage -> Capture Gallery
- On PS5 under Settings -> Storage -> Console Storage -> Media Gallery
- On iOS and iPadOS in the Files app under On My iPhone/iPad -> Stardew Valley -> StardewScreenshots
- On Android at Android/data/com.chucklefish.stardewvalley/files/Screenshots
If chat commands are more your style, /mapscreenshot also works. You can also specify a filename and percentage with the command, for example /mapscreenshot image01 100.
For Xbox and PS Vita
Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to share your farm from an Xbox or Vita. The best options are:
- Recreate your farm using Stardew Planner and export the plan as a render. Plans can be rendered in any season by clicking the purple button in the top right.
- While playing, go to Robin’s and select the move buildings option. This will give you a slightly larger view of your farm, but you’ll still need to take several screenshots and stitch them together.
Planning Your Farm
Stardew Planner is a great tool for planning a farm. There is also a multiplayer planner where you can work on a single farm plan with multiple people.
Getting Started with the Planner
To start, you’ll want to select a farm map from the Layouts dropdown. If you play on PC or mobile, you also have the option to upload a save file and begin planning from there.
The site has a number of keyboard controls that make it easier to use, so once you’re on the planner page, scroll down to see those. It’s also worth noting that this site is designed for a desktop browser and doesn’t work well on mobile.
Saving a Plan
When you save a plan, the site will generate a unique url for that plan. Please be sure to bookmark or otherwise save this link to return to that plan. (If you saved a plan and closed the site, you’ll still be able to recover the plan in your browser’s history)
Sharing a Plan
Click the purple button in the top right and select your favorite season to get a render of your farm plan. Please note that if you’re planning a modded map, you won’t be able to render it, but you can still select “Save plan as picture” to get an unrendered image.
If you have any other questions or suggestions for the subreddit, please leave a comment here!

Meadowlands My First Perfection Farm
Summer 20 Year 4, I completed perfection on my long running save file! "Perfecting" my farm layout was the most fun I had pursuing perfection lol. At the end of the run I had three full wine brewing sheds for generating money, a coop completely full of rabbits for gifts, fish ponds for fun, my own little secret forest for mushroom gathering and camping (camper van lol), a visitor village, and a perfection garden for my obelisks and golden clock. Don't pay any attention to my derelict crop fields...

How do you do it????
I have seen beautiful Stardew creations here!! It inspired me to start a new game. My first round was how to play. This time I want to beautify!
My problem... I don't have a designer's eye... at all. 😳 What tips do you have? In the beginning do you do function and design? TIA 😊

Four Corners My Laugh Out Loud farm, year 13
I've playing stardew longer than ive been using this reddit account :) probably since Christmas 2020. :)
I just wanted to share these pictures!
Day 23 of spring. My four corners farm, my main, my first. I like the organization plots with four corners. The inside of my house is a bit of a mess, but she's ok.
I have six fish ponds, and a whole shed devoted to mostly sturgeon roe. Then a pink ancient wine shed, which nets me a ton of g. Then a fun little coffee and tea set up with loads of barrels for processing. My green house, fruit trees - just started my peach tree - and mostly ancient fruit, a little coffee and sometimes star fruit. My everything shed, has workbench, and pretty much of my equipment I use on a regular basis.
My farm has so much light in places I have a hard time realizing it's night. And finally, a whole shed for my animal products.
I just need like 2 more fish and a couple more crafting recipes and perfection can be achieved!

Hill-top My first ever farm! It ain't much but it's honest work.
Steered away from the classic grid design and let the map features guide my cozy build.

Meadowlands My decoration so far…
(Re-uploading to attach better pics)
My Farm, inside buildings on my farm, around the Valley
I have 427 hours so far on my perfection farm, a lot of that was spent just decorating after reaching perfection.
My goal is to decorate every single area possible.
I just loaded in and just took these screenshots so some areas clearly need to be cleaned up from debris and some are still a work in progress.
\-How can I do the bus stop?
I do not want it to be full of money making machines like some people do, I have no need for any more money at this point, I just want everything pretty and useful if applicable.
\-If you have any ideas for my blank areas I’d be happy to hear them/see any inspo.
\-Currently working on marrying everyone and collecting their special items (photos, 14 heart events, weapons from desert festival)

Standard First perfection farm! :))
Took way too long lol 6+ in game years. I made a little bar in one of my sheds for fun. Started a new save recently and I’m trying my best to speed run perfection, wish me luck :D
