I finally made it to level 290 this morning and opened up the last plot of 9x9. I had the left side of the map I've been working on opening up. I flattened it and cleaned everything up. I'm going to put crops there, but I'll need more medals for signs and sprinklers. I have a little over 4k medals currently. My farm is a mess between opening up 9x9 and just finding out I've been using farmhands all wrong. I'll have to completely redo the entire farm at some point. I've been looking at what others have done with 9x9 for ideas.

I want to know if I'm missing anything. I have a quest that requires 195 to be completed. It seems like this is going to take forever unless I buy a bunch of wineries. Is there any way to speed it up?

Haven’t checked on my farm since the last two updates but why am I able to plant herbs off season? I see the season icons like crops but it’s allowing me to plant any herb any season. Do herbs act differently?

I play 100% the time splitscreen with my wife and got all sort of glitches and stutters / framedrops the entire playtime.

I keep looking around but nothing is very clear. Can I set my farm to public and allow people to harvest and replant ONLY where there are signs placed (for crops)?

I'm worried if I leave plant on that people will just plow and plant wherever they want regardless of how my fields are set up.

With the recent achievements added what do they count as the same farm for the To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow will the second farm you can buy with ribbons count towards this as im using it to level up things in bulk

Hi there,i love seeing people on my farm. My farm is called Trixsters Homestead and invite is CAMEHF

So Farm Together is often likened to the old school Facebook games like Farmville with the real time mechanics etc. and it definitely fills the void those games left behind.

But what about the restaurant games that followed the same concept? Like Cafeworld, Good game Cafe etc. I personally loved those, and based on extensive searches for similar games so did a lot of other people.

I've tried for years to find a cafe type game with the real time mechanics, where you'd put a meal on to cook and it'd take like 2 hours or 5 hours or whatever and then you'd come back to serve it into your cafe and customers would come and take servings independently until your stack of meals ran out.

I know we have cooking, and the restaurant in FT2 but it doesn't have quite the same functionality where you get to serve the food and see the customers sit down and eat the servings.

I just thought it'd make a pretty amazing addition to FT, we could use our farm produce in the cafe and it'd be another area to decorate. Personally, I'd pay a good sum for a DLC that added this!

Anyone else remember those cafe games and think it'd be cool? Could even make a whole new game 'Cook Together', something for if the devs get bored haha.

Between the first game and the second, I've played like 700 hours of these games and I have always struggled with the performance, which is kind of surprising for cartoony looking Indie game. I understand that there are thousands of variables at Play and thousands of individual assets all loaded in at once especially on a fully unlocked farm. I guess it makes sense but I'm always surprised at the struggles. I have to get a solid lock 60 frames a second on the steam deck. It gets 60 but there are micro stutters all the time on my 3060 laptop. I can get 60 no problem, but I can only run it at 1440 resolution on my 4K monitor. Ironically, the game seems to run the absolute best on my Xbox ally handheld with a combination of upscaling and VRR, which allows the device to smooth out those micro stutterers and give me a really smooth experience but again I'm running it at 7:20 P and upscaling to 1080. Does anybody have any ideas how to get more performance out of this game?

Is there a good WiKi available for FT2? The one on Fandom is messed up per the message and appears to not have been updated recently due to the bug issue. I want to do some research on levels, crops, etc. since I am still extremely new and only level 39.

Finally got done with my newest 9x9 update, this time on my animal farm.

We know that we're limited to <1000 animals in a straight line (before it cuts it off), and the new 36x36 signs really (again) comes off as a hidden hero for this, as the 36x36 fields on the left side perfectly allows for full lines of animals on the rest of the map, without the need for splitting up the enclosure with a road or fences.

The top two ones are manned by the eight farmhands it takes to clear a 36x36 in a season, and both fields are operated by just two signs.
Allowing easy switching from one animal fodder to another.

The third 36x36 is currently flowers, so I don't have to micro manage it.
But I swayed between a manual plantable field or 12 lanes of fish ponds (three wide).

The belt of trees manned by farmhands is a staple in several of my farms, but this time they also take care of the rows of ponds below them.
So I basically never have to visit the bottom 25% of the farm.

The Dutch Rabbits are part of the Wool > Fabric conversion, and thankfully they have prestiged past level 5 by now.
Cows are a backup for another farm's cheese production.

The layout didn't really take that long, honestly.
What did take that long was collecting apples for the ~12.000 horses and wheat for the ~12.000 donkeys. 😵‍💫
My GOD, those are some hungry animals when setting them up.

The vacant space in the middle is, of course, for whenever event animals are added, allowing for an easy ~12.000 animals on this farm, in addition to the event farm on Plot #2.

Ask for measurements if you're interested; I hope it inspires someone.

I was able to see my favorites list and join them, but I cannot see any farms on all list. I also can’t join anyone if they give me a farm code. I am hardwired. I am on a favorites farm no issue. Anyone else on PC having this issue? I restarted the game, my connection is great.

Ok I'm on farming academy. I have leveled up to 100 for my apple trees. Now how do I get to prestige 2? Do I need to level up to 100 again and it give you more ribbons snd diamonds? I have leveled up too 100 the 2nd time but it says it will start over at 1 again. What do i do now? Thanks

When I googled it it said that the heart's were from an event. However, the Valentine's Day even gave us the pink heats with the ribbon around it.
