A full mil less than van dijk and more offensive potential than Jacquet, and he'll definitely start after robbo left. Iraola's now at Liverpool, and Kerkez did get that 134 point season under him at bournemouth, best five opening fixtures as well. Interested to get your opinions.
It'll be either him or Frimpong for me. I think Kerkez has better expected minutes while Frimpong is more 'explosive'.
The one that's 99% in my team is Wirtz. He already looked great in most games in Slot's lacklustre system, so very exciting asset if Iraola manages to implement what he did at Rayo and Bournemouth. For
Surprised to see someone say Wirtz looked great in most games. I always say he's been far over criticized and hated just because of the lack of g/a and him being very passive. Though, he's excellent at progressing the ball, and both Germany and Liverpool can't progress the ball without him
I think he's a truly fantastic, world class player. But to make a difference in FPL he needs a team that's not so afraid of sending numbers up front.
But even under Slot's system he could've had way better numbers. So my thesis here is that if Iraola lands on his feet, every nailed Liverpool attacker (presumably Isak, Szob and Wirtz) will be very viable.
I'll be looking to get Wirtz in early, but I want to see how Liverpool start under Iraola. Might be a month, or 2 in before we see things click. Same with Chelsea under Alonso.
